REAL LIFE
"i might cut my hair..." i mumbled as i fiddled with my long locks of brown hair, justin shrugged and leaned his head back onto my lap. "you'll still be beautiful to me." he answered and i laughed softly.
"thank you, justy." i replied and looked around his bedroom, "when is your mom getting back?" i asked and he frowned. "why?" he sat up and looked at me.
"i just, i've never met her..." i whispered and he grabbed my hand. "you are not meeting her, alyson. i do not want you anywhere near this shit hole when she arrives." he declared and i frowned.
"why the hell not?!" i exclaimed. "you just...you might get hurt and i would never forgive myself, aly...i could never live knowing that anyone touched you again." he answered and lifted my fingers to his lips.
"justin, it wasn't your fault." i whispered as i realized what he was talking about. "i was only ten steps away, i could of come out and stopped it...if i had turned down the fucking music i would of heard! god!" he yelled and pulled his hands away to punch the wall.
i stood up and watched as he crumbled to the floor with a bloody fist and tears in his eyes. "i could've protected you..." he sobbed.
"it's okay, justin, it's okay..." i mumbled and sat down by his side. i pulled him into my arms and sighed. we sat there as he apologized.
