"I'm pregnant." She told her mother and father again as they broke out of their shock.

"Abby." Her father sat down on the couch and sighed. "Are you joking around with us?" The girl shook her head as she held onto her boyfriends hand tighter.

"We want to keep the baby." Joe said and the parents shook their head again.

"You are both too young to take care of a baby!!" Her mother said and Abby shook her head.

"No we aren't."

"I think they are right Ava... they were able to have unprotected sex then they should be able to take the consequences of it."

"They are only children themselves Andrew!"

"Children who were old enough to have unprotected sex!"

"They knew the consequences and now they have to live with it!"

"The condom broke." Abby whispered quietly and her father sighed.

"At least you used one."

"You could have talked with me Abby... we could have gotten you birth-control pills."

"No I will tell you how you would have reacted!"

" You're 15 year old daughter walks towards you and says 'hey mom Joe and I are going to have sex soon can you take me to the doctor so I at least won't get pregnant' you would have locked me in a room until Joe would have given up on me!"

Her mother sighed, knowing it was kind of true, she never really liked Joe. He was already 17, soon to be 18 and it hurt her to see her daughter in the arms of a man when she wanted to be the one who protected her because she always did when Abby was little. Sure she wouldn't have locked her in a room but she would have done anything to keep Joe away from their daughter.

"Have you already told your parents?" Ava asked and Joe tensed up, along with Abby.

"Mom!" She shouted.

"What did I do?!" Ava replied defensively.

"Um my parents are dead if you don't remember Mrs. Anderson."

"Oh yeah right.. I knew there was another reason to hate you." Abby glared at her mom while she felt Joe sadden.

"I get it okay?!"

"Ever since I started dating your daughter you have been trying to get her away from me!"

"I get that you don't like me very much but leave my parents out of this, they have nothing to do with this!"

"Joe!" Abby shouted after her boyfriend as he walked out of the house.

"Thanks a lot Mom." She started running after Joe and found him sitting outside in her garden under the huge tree they had been sitting under so often.

"You okay?" She asked him and he nodded.

"I just... don't like talking about my parents... it just hurts you know." Abby nodded and leaned her head on his shoulders.

"I do baby... but you will see everything will be fine." Joe pulled her on his lap and laid his hand on her stomach.

"We are going to have this baby no matter what and we will be one happy family." Abby nodded and leaned up to kiss him. Only seconds later they heard someone cough behind them.
