I get out after Ayyan stops his car.
"I will get my answers as soon as I can, keep that in mind," I say, in an intimidating tune before I leave.
"Haha, we'll see," He says sarcastically.
I said it but I still don't know how I'll get my answers. How do I find out what happened and where he is? Ayyan won't tell me, others probably don't know. What do I do?
I get welcomed by a hug as soon as I walk in the university
"Hey...how have you been?" I ask with a smile and she hugs me tighter. "Look, I'm sorry for last time that I was rude. I don't know what got into me," I apologize and soon a third arm wraps around us.
"We understand," Ayyan says with a warm smile.
"I love you guys, I don't know what I would do I didn't have you both in my life," I say, stating the truth.
"Emotional hunh?" He says, cracking us up.
Soon we hear the bell ring and head inside the examination hall. Me? With no preparation at all.
After the exam
"I know I'm going to fail," Ayyan says, groaning.
"I didn't study a single word, at least you studied something," I say, covering my face with my hands as I sit.
"Don't worry, you'll pass," Anaya says, rubbing my arm.
"That’s definitely comforting," I say, sarcastically and they laugh.
"Well, there’s always ups and downs in exams. Study well for the next one," He says, being mature.
"Sure teacher ji," I laugh.
"What about your challenge?" He asks.
"You'll see," I say, rolling my eyes.
"Right," He replies as we head out and into his car.
After saying goodbye to them, I head inside the house and knock on Papa's bedroom door.
"Come in," He says in his professional accent and I laugh.
"How did the princess decide to visit me after so many days?" He asks as I sit next to him and it immediately reminds me of Hussain.
"Can't I just come to have some chill time with you?" I ask, innocently.
"Sure you can," He laughs.
After a couple minutes of joking and laugh, I finally gather the courage to ask him a question.
"Papa...Ahmed didn't come to pick me up today. Did he tell you why...or something?" I ask, nervously.
"Really? He didn't come? Then who dropped you?" He replies me with a question, giving me an idea that he has no clue.
"Oh, I...went with Anaya," I lie.
"Hmm okay. He didn't tell me anything. I didn't expect him to be this irresponsible," He says, zoning off to his thoughts.
"Papa...I'm thinking it might be something serious, don't you think I should go visit his house and find out," I ask, hoping for a yes.
"No no, I'll call his fath-" I cut him off.
"Nooo! It’s fine. I'll go visit, why worry his father?"
"Hmm, alright. I know his address," He says, writing it down on a piece of paper and handing it to me.
"Thanks. I'll go with Anaya," I reply, smiling.
