Band Nerd and the Jock

Prologue

Skylar and Sadie are two peas in a pod. Literally.

Sadie Thompson and Skylar Park have been living next to each other their whole lives. Growing up together had its perks a best friend at your side; a protector from your worst nightmares; and a friendship like no other. They went through

the fun and innocent years of elementary school; the excruciating and most embarrassing moments, especially for Sadie, in middle school. But...in

middle school it got a little harder to stay best friends both were in band (hence the Band Nerds) but Skylar started to get interested in sports more leaving Sadie by herself to defend against those who thought Skylar was wasting his time on his " best friend". But still Skylar stayed true to his best friend and remained by her side when he didn't have to juggle a

football practice and soccer tournament at once and he had free time to spare it was always with Sadie.

Then high school hit cliques; the labels; and of course the extra rehearsal with band; football; soccer; dance; etc. Now not only do they have different activities that kept them apart but the school seemed to have built something around them that made it hard to keep in touch but they always had each other when they went back home.

Or they could always hang out in their tree house in the back of Sadie's house or stay up late having Burn Notice, MacGyver, and Disney movie marathons late at night with junk food littering the room. Those times were what the best friends lived for and made sure they had that every Friday even if they had a game that night. But they seemed to be few and far between.

Hopefully they could last till they graduate but only time will tell for

the dynamic duo.
