Author and Finisher

I look
To the Lord
For He is
The Word
He wrote my life
In a book
So unto Him
I shall look
He is the author
Of my faith
And the finisher
Of my case
For He endured the cross
Despising the shame
That I may come across
Righteous in His Name
So I lay aside
Every sin and weight
To fully abide
In His Love so great
That I may contend
To endure the race
To the very end
Completely by His Grace
