My son is just shattered. He's jumpy. Probably having nightmares. PTSD, that's it. After all, him and his girlfriend were the injured parties. How can this happen in a school? That's supposed to be a safe environment.
So random. So crazy!
You've got to ask yourself, where are her parents? What have they been doing about their daughter's behaviour? You need to be involved with your children. Monitor and interact to raise healthy, happy adults, right? Not psychopaths that go on a rampage.
I'll bet her parents are absentee, you know, working, socializing, not paying any attention to the kids they pop out into the world. Probably d-i-v-o-r-c-e-d.
Griffen's Dad and I like to keep close tabs on our two boys. None of this boys-will-be-boys mischief. Oh no. We have weekly family meetings just to air things out. To stay on top of their goings-on. Social life. Sports. Academics. It's a lot, let me tell you. If you don't stay involved as a parent, it'll get away from you. Then look out.
Now I watch him suffering and it's hard to know how to best help him.
And, of course, poor Brianna. Sweet girl. Her parents must be just beside themselves, what with her injuries.
