Once a Friend, Not Always a Friend

The Project

Trey's POV

After the test was done, I handed it to Ms. Hilton and headed straight to the library. I quickly went on WattPad and check out "The Blaize Keeps Burning." No new chapter yet. I sighed.

I heard the library door open, and saw Arian. He looked around and saw some beanbags. He went and sat down with a book and started reading. I started thinking if I should introduce myself to him. I took the risk and went to him.

"Oh, hello" I said. He looked at me nervously. "Oh, hey." He kept his words short and continued reading. "Um, my name is Trey, the person you sat next to in class. He stared at his book and looked back up to me. "Yes, I remember, so what do you want?"

I didn't know what to say. "Um, nothing just wanted to introduce myself." I forced a smile. He looked at me then smiled, his voice turning joyful. "Oh, nice to meet you, my name is Trey." 

As we were talking I saw Megan at her locker. "Well then, it was nice meeting you Arian, see you in english." I stuttered. "Wait, Trey." He called. I turned "Yes?" He looked nervous. "Never mind." I looked back and smiled. "Okay, see you."

I walked into Schmalz's class, I see it was Socials class. I sat down, and saw Arian talking with Megan. He actually looked comfortable at talking and didn't look nervous. While they were talking, Hannah Knox came by.

"Hey Megan." She smiled. "Hey, Hannah, my wife!" Arian stared at them in confusion. "Hey Megan, I'm going to go." Megan nodded. "Okay, see you." 

The class was a complete war zone until Mr. Schmalz came in. "Alright then, as you can see, your, in socials." The class immediately turned to Trey. "Trey, can you read the board?" I sighed and stood up. "Today were going to do a little more Indian vocab then do a project." I sat back down.

After doing Indian Vocab, we went on to Partners. "Okay class I'm going to assign you your partners and tell you about the project, understand?" The class nodded.

"Blake, your with Blaize, Nikk is with Rio, Shayla is with Emily, Jenna and Maryn, Christian and Colby, Matt and Traton, Mohoya and Mickalia, Lilly and Riley, Megan and Hannah, and finally, Arian and Trey." My eyes widened. Everyone was pretty much with there friends, except me!

"The project is about making a 3D model of the world globe." He added. "Class dismissed early, remember, Walz let you out.

Everyone was talking about the project. I was just standing next to Megan. "Hey Trey!" I turn around to see Arian. "So what are we going to do with the project?" He asked. "I have no clue yet, but it's due next Tuesday so we only have 5 days.
