Chapter 60

"Boo."

Hyunsoo and Jimin spun around to find themselves facing the most unexpected person they would find in Jungkook's back garden: Taehyung.

"What... the hell..." Jimin stammered, staring at Taehyung's smiling face.

"What are you guys doing here?" he asked, oblivious to the shock Hyunsoo and Jimin felt by his presence.

"Us? What about you? What are you doing here?" Hyunsoo said, after finally swallowing down the shock.

"I was taking a walk down the road."

Jimin continued to stare at Taehyung. "Through Jungkook's back garden?"

"No, I followed you both. I saw you sneak into the garden as well, so I crouched down and followed," Taehyung said with an innocent face expression, "I thought you were playing a game and I just wanted to join in."

Hyunsoo couldn't help but smile at that, as Jimin was still looking at Taehyung with unbelievable eyes.

"We're doing something important... I'm sorry, you just scared us at first so we reacted like that."

"It's okay!" he said smiling, "Can I stay with you?"

Jimin finally opened his mouth. "Uh, well...." He looked at Hyunsoo.

"It's okay, he can stay." Hyunsoo was giving a nod to Jimin.

Jimin raised an eyebrow and Hyunsoo just put a finger to her mouth. Taehyung quickly bent down to sit on the ground next to Hyunsoo and Jimin.

"So, what are we doing?" he asked.

"We need to find a way to get into Jungkook's house," Jimin said boldly, watching for a reaction.

"Breaking and entering? Sounds like my type of game!"

Hyunsoo and Jimin didn't know what to say anymore, so instead of giving him a reaction, they looked up at Jungkook's window and realised the window was now slightly open.

"This is a perfect chance to test our climbing skills!" Taehyung said, into Hyunsoo's ear.

"I'll go first," Jimin said, going closer towards the pipes along the side of the house. "I think this will work..."

Jimin stepped up and started climbing using the stone wall and the pipe. Hyunsoo and Taehyung both stayed silent as they watched him go up.

"I think you guys can start climbing as well!" Jimin whispered a little loudly.

Hyunsoo started next, followed by Taehyung. As Hyunsoo reached the top, Jimin helped her through into Jungkook's room. Taehyung joined only a minute after. They were both standing there, in Jungkook's room, who was not there.

"Well, we are lucky he's not here?" Jimin said.

"Yeah, you're lucky..."

"What would he do if he found us climbing through his window?" Taehyung asked.

"Probably freak out..."

"Wait, guys... who's talking?" Hyunsoo asked.

They turned around at the same time to find Jungkook walk out of his closet.

"Jungkook?!"

"What are you guys doing here?" he asked.

Everyone looked at Hyunsoo. Jimin even gave her a look of 'explain yourself to your boyfriend now'.

Hyunsoo looked at Jungkook timidly, as Taehyung pushed her slightly closer towards him.

"Well..." And like that, Hyunsoo finally let out everyone that was annoying her about Hyejin. Jungkook was looking at them all in turn, but mainly kept his attention on Hyunsoo with a serious face, turning into a confusion, and then to amusement.

When Hyunsoo finally finished talking, she took a deep breath and asked, "Why are you laughing?"

"Why do I have such dramatic people in my life?" Jungkook answered, still laughing.

Taehyung joined him and started nudging Jimin in delight.

"Well," Hyunsoo said, "I need an explanation still. Hyejin is coming here, but for what reason?"

"That's fine. I'm curious about that as well, but could you not text me? Did you really climb up using the pipes to get to my room?"

This time Jimin couldn't help but join in the laughter. Hyunsoo finally gave away a smile, when everyone was laughing, it was funny when she thought back about how spy like they were acting.

"Who's here?" Hyejin called from the hallway.

Everyone's face instantly changed to horror and gasps.

"Quick!" Jungkook opened his closet and whispered for everyone to hide inside.

However, Hyunsoo shook her head and made everyone stay where they were. She wanted this problem over and out with from her head.

At that moment, Hyejin open the door and walked in, looking surprised at the sudden appearances in Jungkook's room.

"What are you all doing here?!" she asked in disbelief.

"The question is," Jimin started, raising his finger at her, "What the heck are you doing here?"

"I'm here with my grandmother, is that such a problem?"

"What about you walking into my room?" Jungkook asked.

"I heard voices," she said evenly.

"So you barge into my room?"

Hyunsoo couldn't hold it in any longer. "What are you trying to do? What are you looking for? Or, what did you actually find that's so against–"

Hyunsoo couldn't say anymore, because right at that moment, Taehyung had clasped a hand over her mouth, which was surprising to say the least, since only a few moments ago he had no clue to what was going on.

Unfortunately, Hyejin had already gotten the message to what Hyunsoo was going to say.

"That's for you all to find out tomorrow at school." She held her nose up high in the air as she walked out of the room.

"What a snob," Jimin commented before the door even closed.

"She looks like a verruca to me," Jungkook said after a long silence.

Everyone looked at him.
