Chapter 5: Smart-Ass

"Ho ho. What do we have here?"

You quickly turned to see who said this. You were eye to eye with a man. The surprise made you stumble and fall onto the ground.

"Seems like you managed to escape. That a shame. But at least I was the one who found you."

"Wh-who are you?" You asked timidly. His dark blue eyes almost holding you still as he stared down at you. His white hair contrasting with his tan skin.

(I promise this is not turning into a Niles x Reader. I'm just describing him. I swear.)

"Niles. Retainer of Milord Leo."

You immediately tenses up at Leo's name. 'Oh gods.' You thought.

(Where are my Percy Jackson fans at?)

In one quick move by Niles, you found yourself slung over his shoulder.

"Where are you taking me?" You yelled as he started to walk back into the castle.

"Since you can't behave in Lady Camilla's room, I'll take you to Lord Leo's instead."

And that is how you arrived at Leo's room. Shouting at Niles to put you down while he held you over his shoulder.

Leo opened the door and immediately sighed. "How did she get out?"

"My guess is out the window." Niles responded while Leo stepped aside let him in.

"You can put me down now you bafoon!" You yelled at Niles, hitting his back.

"Alright alright. No need to shout here princess."

"No need to call me that. Now leave." You said as he put you down.

"Milord?" Niles asked looking at Leo.

"Take your leave Niles." Leo said sternly.

"Yes Milord." Niles turned and left. Closing the door on his way out. Now before giving you a smirk though.

Leo looked at you as you stared at the wall ahead. "You're staying here for the night."

"What?!" You shouted. "Why can't I go back to Camilla's room! At least she's somewhat nice to me."

Leo slammed his hand on his desk. "You will obey me and that is final you runt!"

You shivered and stepped back.

"You will not disrespect me. Especially in my own castle you wretch!"

You don't know what you were thinking. Actually you weren't. So you made a smart-ass comment you shouldn't have. "Well. Technically it's not your castle."

You instantly covered your mouth as he glared at you. He grabbed your arm unbelievably tight and dragged you out of his room into the hallway and started walking.

'Why am I like this?' You thought.
