-Her dress above-

I walked around nervously. Tonight was the night of the ball and so many people were coming. Christian was used to this, but I was terrified. He was still asleep, but probably because he was worn out from last night.

Nothing happened really, just the fact I was constantly in pain so he couldn't get any sleep. Finally, I felt better and crashed around five in the morning and so did he. I had already took a shower and someone came in to do my hair.

This was the real deal. I was wanting to just do something simple to introduce me, but no, he was going ALL out. 'Anything for my Queen' he would say when I brought it up.

I heard the bathroom door open and in walked Christian who looked half asleep.

"You didn't wake me." He mumbled.

"I wanted you to get some sleep." I said and he smiled walking over and sat his hands on my waist.

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" He grinned and I shrugged.

"You look beautiful." He said looking me over and I smiled as he leaned down giving me a soft yet passionate kiss. He pulled away and I saw the gold specks wanting to come out in his eyes as his wolf clawed to the surface.

"Well, we got through your first heat together, big step." He joked, managing to pull out a laugh from me.

"The biggest." He let out a laugh, kissing the top of my head.

"I'm going to go ahead and shower. Feel free to join me." He winked.

"Oh I'll get right on that." I laughed as I walked towards the door, hearing his soft chuckle.

I closed the door behind me and walked to my closet seeing my gorgeous gold dress laid out with gold heels to match.

I hope I don't face plant.

People were everywhere. Christian wanted to talk with people first before introducing me to see how people reacted to me, so we split up and I was currently sitting by the punch bowl nervously. I had yet to talk to people. I felt like I was back at the sector's dance they used to throw for the kids to get their minds off things. I'd always stand awkwardly by the food table.

A girl in a puffy gorgeous red dress walked up pouring her a glass. Her blonde hair was pinned to perfection, I was jealous.

"She must be some lucky girl." She said to me and I couldn't help but grin.

"She is..."

"Do you think she's stuck up? In it for the money?" She asked sipping her drink and my eyes widened.
