Michael pov:
emily is due home tomorrow and I absolutely can't wait these 2 weeks have been so horrible, I hope that there will be no more long trips for a while. I put the tv on and as I was about to put a movie in breaking news came on and normal I ignore it but the 2 words I didn't want to hear in the same sentence just did, earthquake and texas. I rang emily straight away "please pick up" I said then on the 7th ring she answered.
Emily pov:
"hello"
"you need to come home and fast"
"michael I'm leaving in the morning"
"no you have to leave now, an earthquake is going to hit"
"Michael you -" amy came rushing in the room
"we gotta evacuate to the buildings earthquake is due to hit"
"let me finish my call please"
"fine me quick, I'll pack your bags"
"michael you was right"
"see you have to come back"
"we're getting evacuated, as soon as we can I'll come home"
"stay safe"
"I will"
"I love you" I can tell he's starting to cry
"mikey please don't cry I will be safe and I won't leave the building until it's over"
"promise?" michael sniffles
"I promise, now wipe those tears away"
"ok"
"michael, wipe them"
"I did"

"ok fine now I have"

"I should let you go and get to the building"

"I love you most" we both said at the same time then we said bye and I got the rest of my things and I headed to the evacuation building.
michael pov:
I get off the phone and I burst out in tears then a realise parismis home I go and look for her but I see her outside, thank god she's outside. I go and watch growns up this should help with stopping the tears. later that evening the children are getting excited about coming home from school and emily will be here, I have to tell them something but not the truth as we was just finishing dinner janet rang so I took the phone call upstairs.
"hey dunk"
"hey applehead, I need to ask a favour"
"what is it?"
"well it's not for me but Joseph has asked me to ask you if he can come around in the morning to pick up that thing to do with the boat from years ago"
"sure"
"one sec I'll tell him the answer" "ok, I'm back and he said he will be there at about 8ish"
"ok and dunk"
"yeah?"
"tell him not to mention texas and hurricane"
"emily is still there?"
"yeah but she's safe they at a evacuation centre"
"good and I'll tell him" I finish the call and I head downstairs amd the children looks excited "was it mom?" they asked
