AUTHOR'S P.O.V
"Lucy Heartfilia?" She lifted her arm gently and carefully, trying not to wake the pinkette who was sleeping on her lap. "That's me" Lucy breathed and smiled nervously at the nurse.
"Lisanna Strauss would like to see you" the blonde girl lifted Natsu's head and rested it on the chair she was sitting on earlier. "Is she awake?" The nurse nodded.
"She's in a very hard condition right now" the nurse explained and Lucy nodded sadly "what do you mean?"
"It's a matter between life and death..."

"Lucy" Lisanna barely whispered. "Hey Lis how are you feeling? I'm so sorry about the accident" Lisanna couldn't help but smile at how kind the girl was, even after all the things she's done to her. "I wanted to see you because" instead of finishing off her sentence Lisanna coughed and closed her eyes. Obviously the girl was in pain.
"I'm dying Lucy"
"No you're not Lis, the doctor said it's nothing serious! You'll live you will Lisanna just like all of us you'll live, have high education, get married, have children, and we'll all stay friends forever." Lucy didn't feel the tears running down her cheeks, probably because the girl cried so often that she got so used to it. "No I begged for him to say that" Lisanna explained and then coughed again.
"It was my choice to jump infront of the car, my choice to drink vinegar but sadly it didn't kill me. Lucy I'm suicidal and tired of life I've hurt so much people and I lost my mother. I don't want to live anymore"
"Bull crap Lisanna! Don't say such dumb things we all forgave you, we all love you and want you to stay here." Lucy was angry from all the things Lisanna said. "No Lucy you don't" Lucy immediately cut her off by saying "I'll call Natsu you're insane".
"No! Don't call him or anyone else please"
"Please" she begged and Lucy gave in.
"There's something I have to tell you"
"I'm listening Lisanna" Lucy whispered and gently held her pale hand. But before the Lisanna could say what she wanted the heart- rate monitor started beeping, Lisanna's coughing got louder and her skin got paler. "Doctor! Doctor! Natsu! Guys!" Lucy shouted and started pacing around the room.
"Please someone!" The doctor and her friends ran inside the room to see an almost lifeless Lisanna on the bed but before they could walk closer to the girl. Lisanna grabbed Lucy's hand and smiled at her with tears in her eyes "take care of him and yourself" she whispered and closed her eyes for the last time in this life.
Lucy no longer heard the heart rate monitor, neither did she hear anyone's cries or screams. It felt like she was suddenly deaf, she saw everyone but didn't hear them. She walked around the room and studied the white walls which were very familiar and that painting of that grey dwell. It felt like Lucy has been here before but she couldn't remember when.
But when she turned around and saw the small brown cupboard she then remembered a familiar hand that fell on that cupboard lifelessly on July 7th.
"July 7th" Lucy whispered.
Floor 3, room 1507, 12:30, the painting of a grey dwell, the familiar feeling of suddenly being deaf and that brown cupboard and July 7th. Her vision got blurry and then she remembered:
'July 7th was the day of Layla Heartfilia's death. '
