An Outer Experiment

Zypherin

There was a knocking on the door to her quarters. "Enter." Called the voice coming from the kitchin. Two gaurds, each who's skin ombryed from yellows to red walked into her room and stood in the doorway. They held staffs in their hands.
"Mz. Zypherin, the queen has requested an audiance with you." The girl nodded and slipped into the light. The girl-Zypherin- Had skin that ombryed from blue to purple to turquoise all around her body. Her hair was yellow with golden streaks throughout her long strands. Her eyes were silver
She followed the guards down the hall with her hands behind her back.
They walked into a large throne room.
At the end of the room sat a regal throne that stood at the top of a pedestal. The throne was plush and velvet with silver edging. The throne had a slim and narrow build. The woman on the throne matched. She was slim and tall and sat straight up. Her skin was White with black stripes across her arms and her eyes were simular.
When the queen saw Zypherin a grin spread across her face.
"Queen Zyntha." Zephyr said dropping into a curtsey.
"Hello Zepherine!" Zynthia said happily. She was a young queen, maybe a few hundred moon downs older, which ment that Zephyrine had met the queen while she was a young princess. "Please by all means drop the formalities." Zephyrine smiled and stood up.
"It's nice to see you again Zynthia." She said, her tone happy. The thing about Arnhika was that the people there were always ful of emotion. (Almost always positive or energetic)
"That's wonderful my friend." She stood up and walked down to join Zephyrine. Zynthia was about half a head taller than her. "But one thing I must do is send you on an away mission."
Zephyrine's smile faded. "What do you mean?"
"Well you know how we have our foriegn planet program?" Zephyrine nodded, still confused. "Well you are the highest ranking in our study on the planet Earth. Recently we have had intell that the race that lives on the planet has just about managed space travel and webelieve they are searching for life. We have thoughts that they are coming to our planet soon." She finished.
"But why does it matter, new friends are new friends." She said with a smile.
"Not these people." She said. "They are not what we want on our planet. They are not like us Zephyrine. They do not deserve our friendship."
Zephyrine nodded. "Okay. What is my mission?" She said exhaling a breath.
Zynthia brightend a bit. "Okay. What is my mission?" She bit her lip. She was both nervouse and excited to go to the planet she had studied about so much. Would it be anything like the books said it would be? The place sounded cool and all, but green grass and trees? A blue atmisphere? Please, thats crazy. But that's one of the only thing we know for sure about the planet, weird enough it must be true.
"I am just gonna say right now, I'm so sorry to ask so much of you, but you are the most qualified person in your legion or maybe even on this planet who is qualified enough to go to earth. We need to stop this rocket launch so that we are not descovered by them. They do not seem to be as friendly as some other races we have met."
"Are they like. . . . are they like the Skotadi?" Zynthia looked livid.
"Of course they're not like the Skotadi! The Skotadi are dark emotionless people. They are the worstbeings in the galaxy and there is no one as terrible as them."
Zephyrine nodded. "Got it." It's easy to change someones mood on Arnhika, It's not uncommon.
"You leave tommorow when the second moon rises. I will miss you greatly Zephyrine,  and I wish you luck on your mission. You will have all of the details you will need sent to your chip. If you need anything at all do not hesitate to contact me directly." She opened her arms and they shared a hug before Zephyrine was escorted out of the throne room and back to my quarters. One more day until she left for earth. She packed my notebooks full of notes on the planet into a bag and she set my chip in there as well. she packed some clothes and earthen credits that had been gathered from an way team a few thousand moons ago. Hopefuly they were still usable and I hope the place is safe.
