An unexpected Encounter

I'm not oblivious to a girl's feelings towards me like the typical dense hero, but I don't know how answer back at them... I never had a girlfriend before in my previous life so I'm a bit worried that I might mess it up and make things awkward.

"Good luck, Raiga-san." Asia spoke with a bright smile from my right, making me to turn towards her and give a smirk in response.

"Trust me, they won't see what's coming at them..." I replied confidently before my smirk turned into a friendly smile "But thanks for the vote of confidence, Asia."

The doors of the gym open, everyone turning to see the Student Council enter from the other side. The match was quickly set up and ready to start, the match started by the signal of the whistle from Kalawarner-san, who was acting as 1 of the referees with the Hanakai-san of the Student Council.

I saw Saji quickly grabbed 1 of the balls, throwing it at me with an angry expression only to fume further as I hopped over it with ease before having to duck under a ball thrown at me from Shinra-san.

Sensing demonic energy heading towards me, I saw a dodgeball covered in demonic energy heading towards me... So Magic is allowed, this is will be fun. I covered my hands in [Lightning Flames] before holding them towards the dodge ball. I caught it while getting pushed back a little from the force of the throw.

Covering the ball in [Cloud Flames] before throwing it towards the enemy forces, the [Propagation] characteristic caused the dodgeball to multiple into 6 different balls. I can tell that nearly everyone was surprised by my move while some of the Student Council members recovered quickly and were able to dodge my attack, but not so much for the rest.

I picked up another ball and smirked while looked over the last remaining Student Council members (Kaichou, Shinra-san and Saji) "Now... Who should I aim at next?" I asked before covering the ball in [Mist Flames], turning it invisible to anybody but myself. I throw the ball at Saji in the sweeping motion, making it seem like I'm throwing it at anyone of them.

The [Mist Flames] that covered the dodgeball vanished when its near Saji, hitting the blondie guy in the face and kicking him out of the game. I looked back at Kaichou and Shinra-san "So... What's your next move, Kaichou?" I asked, curious to see if the heiress of Sitri Clan has a backup plan in this situation.

"..." She didn't answer at first, as she looked back at Shinra-san to see if she has any idea to do in this position. The more mature girl just shook her head, giving her answer as Kaichou closed her eyes and let out a sigh before giving her answer "We surrender."

- a few minutes later -

I rolled my shoulders while standing inside the clubroom as the other members were celebrating the victory against the Student Council, despite the fact that I was the major factor of the win "Shouldn't we be going to get the familiars now rather then celebrating..."

I saw Gremory's eyes widened as she realised that I'm correct, turning to nod to Himejima-san and sending the silent order to set up the magic circle to the familiar forest as she spoke "Ah, yes that's right Kōjiro-kun"

"You forgot..." I pointed out with deadpanned eyes,

The red head shook her head in denial, her face is slightly red "No I didn't..."

"Bullshit..." I muttered as I walked over the slowly forming magic circle. I felt Gremory's glare at me while Himejima-san just giggled.
