All my poems seemed sad and miserable, so I decided to write a happy one!!! Here is my happy poem!
Blue Skies and Flowers
Lying on the green, green grass,
wishing for the summer to last,
a cold drink by my side,
wearing sunglasses to protect my eyes.
Staring up at the baby blue skies,
putting on suncream, listening to mums advice,
taking small sips of the refreshing drink,
when the glass hits the sunglasses, hearing them go 'clink!'
Smelling the beautiful flowers,
the clouds holding in the ready water droplets, the showers,
reading my favourite book,
seeing a stunning butterfly and shouting, "Look, look!"
