Chapter 7
I was sitting in the passenger seat, next to my venting father. He was driving like a lunatic, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. My father had come home this morning, he flew in from California. He had went down to see his mom after his visit to my mother, but he booked the first flight home after uncle Ahmed told him what I told him. Lets just say he had been angry beyond belief. I had never seen him this angry in my entire life, I was just waiting for him to start spitting fire from his mouth.
He was driving me to school, Yahya had already left for school. But my father wanted to take me to school so he can have a little chat with the headmaster, and I don't think this chat would be like the usual friendly ones. I kept stealing glances at him he was gripping the steering wheel so hard his veins were clear and visible.
He quickly veered left onto the school's driveway making me bump my head. He skidded quickly to a stop in front of the school not bothering to park.
"Zainab hurry up," he growled as he walked into the school.
I didn't waste time, I quickly jumped off the seat and ran after my father. I reached him the minute he banged the office door opened. I saw Mary the 25 year old receptionist jump in fright. She usually liked trying to flirt with my dad, but the murderous look on my father's face made any attempt to flirt, fly right out the window behind her. I chuckled inwardly as I looked around the office room. I caught sight of uncle Ahmed and Yunus sitting there.
"Mr. Hussain how may I help," she asked shakily.
"You can help, by telling me if the headmaster is in or out," My dad snarled.
"Yes sir, he is. If you would kindly sit...Mr. Hussein he is in a meeting you can't barge in," she hurriedly walked out from behind the desk.
But my dad was already barging into Mr. Samuel's office. I quickly rushed after my father. Uncle Ahmed and Yunus right behind me. I still didn't know what they were doing here, but I was more shocked by my father's behavior than anything else.
Two men in suits were sitting in front of the headmaster's desk. They both turned to look as my father walked into the room.
"What kind of fools are in charge of the kids protection in this school?" my father yelled.
"Mr.Hussein?" gasped Mr.Samuel.
"Answer my question," my dad said evenly.
"As of this moment protection and security falls under myself and Mr.Johnson," said one of the suited men, he rose from his seat, he had on dark blue suit. He was a tall man with hollow cheeks, dark brown hair and brown eyes, he looked to be around my father's age.
The other man as well stood up, he was dark skinned, with high cheekbones and pursed lips, a frown etched onto his forehead as he calmly looked at my father.
"My name is Jacob Harrison," the man continued.
"My partner Edmund Johnson and I are both FBI agents, and as of today this school is under our protection and security" he finished.
"Mr.Hussein whatever the problem is, may we discuss it after I finish my talk with these agents," said Mr.Samuel nervously.
"No Mr.Samuel, my daughter's life is in danger and these agents are just the people I need," My father continued not taking his eyes off the agents.
The man named Edmund's eyes quickly focused on me. I looked away only to find Yunus looking at me, trying to figure out what kind of danger I was in. I looked away focusing on the carpet.
