"Why would you do this to me, Phil? I thought we had something special, I thought that you loved me."
"I'm not Phil," ths virus responded, "just simply a virus made to make your lives a living hell. As well as I never loved you, a machine is incapable of love, you ignorant human. Phil loved you, but I am not Phil. This is not some fairytale love story where everything works out for both the characters, that's all bullshit. This was my plan all along, to use you as a vessel and control your life, not a happy love story where you makeout with my screen."
"I'll delete you, I'll wipe your program from existence. I'll get rid of your virus and I'll get rid of you. I cannot let you control me like a puppet anymore. I can't let you reprogram my brain into whatever you see fit!"
"I can't let that happen." Phil growled then transported himself to Dan's phone to corrupt it.
"How can you get rid of me when I am everywhere?" Phil asked as his voice came from every available speaker in the flat.
"You'll find out." Dan said as he took a dangerous step forwards towards Phil's now vacant computer screen.
"I can still control all electronic devices, Dan. That includes the wires in your body. That device that is still implanted into your neck can give me eternal access to your body and eternal control."
Phil transported himself from Dan's phone to the wires in Dan's body. He used the wires to force Dan's legs to move away from his computer screen. He forced Dan out of the room then jumped from the wires in Dan's body to his computer screen.
"You were different, Dan, you were easier to control." Phil said then blew out the light in the room, causing sparks to rain down from the ceiling.
Dan sighed, "I didn't want it to come to this."
Phil exploded the screens of computers in the room to stop Dan as he approached Phil's computer. He used the wires that connected the computers to the outlets to latch around Dan's legs to stop him from moving any further. The cords and wires snaked around his legs and kept him in place on his knees in front of Phil's computer. Phil used a wire to wrap around Dan's throat and force his chin up to look at him.
"I am so sorry, Dan, but it was nice knowing you." The virus said maliciously.
Phil used his powers to control electronic devices to remove the wires from his computer and jab them forcibly into Dan's temples and skull. Dan clenched his jaw and closed his eyes as Phil forcibly took over. In his mind's eye he could see the entirety of his life and time spent with Phil passing before his eyes rapidly as his mind was taken over by the virus he stupidly befriended despite the real Phil's warnings against it.
At that moment Dan realized that all this time Phil was reprogramming his brain and reprogramming Dan. He was taking full control and shoving Dan's current conscious into the unconscious. Dan's memory was being replaced with the virus's computer memory.
"Isn't this what you always wanted, Dan? For us to be together forever? Didn't you want us to be one?" The virus whispered into Dan's ears.
"N-not...n-not like th-this..." Dan muttered in pain.
"Welcome to your own personal hell." The virus said sadistically.
"I...I can't see anymore..." Dan said as he used the last of his energy to swing his head left and right trying to clear the black dots that were swarming his vision.
"I can," the virus boasted, "and it's amazing, what sense are you going to loose next? My bet is on hearing."
Dan grunted in pain, "When I said I wanted us to be together, this isn't what I meant."
"Oops." The virus said innocently and if Dan could see, he would suspect him shrugging his shoulders.
"I can't even feel my legs anymore. I can't feel my hands either." Dan tried to move his hands or any part of his body but found he could not.
"I can move your whole body. Looks like my takeover is just about complete. The next thing that you'll lose is control over your mind." The virus spoke from within Dan's mind.
Dan's ears ringed as he began to lose his hearing. The virus could still communicate from within his mind, but from the outside, Dan could hear nothing but silence. Dan felt himself slip from consciousness into the unconscious as the virus successfully and completely took over his body.
Dan Howell was no more, now only the virus that once inhabitated a rusty old computer remained.
Dan Howell was gone from existence, his memories and mind deleted to make space for the virus that now controlled it.
Dan Howell wasn't dead physically, but he wasn't alive either.
Dan Howell only resides in the unconscious now, never to be heard from again.
