Liu's POV
Liu sat atop a building, gazing at the stars as his grip around his cross necklace tightened in his right hand. He was trying to avoid thinking about Jeffrey, but he was failing terribly. "Why did you do it?" Liu continued "Jeffrey, I just want to know why you...why you...killed them...Why you killed me. Why are you so...different now?" Tears were coming to his eyes, but he held them back when he heard footsteps approaching behind him.
Liu turned his head only to find that his brother was staring down at him. Jeff sighed and sat down next to him on the rooftop. Liu began to mentally panic. 'Did Jeffrey just hear everything that he had just said?'
Jeff's POV
Jeff sighed and sat down on the rooftop next to Liu. He had noticed that Liu had glanced at him as he sat down. "Um...Hey, Jeffrey. What's u- "
"Don't call me that." Jeff's hands turned to fists as he continued "My name is Jeff, not Jeffrey. Got it?"
"Oh, okay...I'm sorry I didn't mean to offen- "Liu was once again interrupted by Jeff.
"Cut the shit. I heard what you said." Jeff's voice was deep and unnerving to Liu.
"Then why did you do it, Jeffre-Jeff? Why did you kill Mom and Dad? I don't even care that you killed me...I just want to know why you killed them. They never did anything to you!"
"*Chuckles* You really are pathetic, aren't you?" Jeff tried to conceal his laughter as he continued to speak "Do you really want to know? Oh, who am I kidding? Of course you do, you've always been a softie. That's what makes you an easy target. That's your weakness. And it is, no, it was your parent's weaknesses too. Which is another thing that made the three of you so easy to kill." Jeff snickered at his own remark.
"They were your parents too, Jeffrey! I can't believ-" Before Liu could finish his thought, he was pinned to the ground by Jeff with a knife.
"I told you that that is not my name. SO DO NOT CALL ME THAT EVER AGAIN. AND DON'T EVER COMPARE ME TO THEM. THEY WERE NEVER MY PARENTS; JUST LIKE YOU WERE NEVER MY BROTHER. Now tell me why I shouldn't just kill you right now. Hmm?" Jeff smirked as he pressed the familiar, cold, sharp steel against Liu's throat. Tears began to fill Liu's eyes as he replied to Jeff's question.
"Because no matter how many times you kill me, I will always come back. And I will help you, no matter the cost. That's what brothers are supposed to do, be there for their brother when they need them the most. So, I intend to fulfil that promise." Liu gulped when Jeff pulled the knife back, placed it in his hoodie pocket and got off of him. Much to Liu's relief, Jeff broke the awkward silence.
"Aww...how sickening. FINE I WON'T KILL YOU, THIS TIME. Now go, before I puke and change my mind." Jeff eased up a little bit.
Liu's POV
Liu just nodded, got up, and left the rooftop. At least now he knew that the Jeffrey he knew, was still in there somewhere. And that was all he needed to know. Everything that Liu said was true, he did intend on keeping his promise, and saving his brother. But now, he had to put that aside, and go back to the Creepypasta mansion. He knew that if he didn't go home right now, that his boss, Slenderman, would kill him.
