Ashley's POV:

I dialed the front office phone, "Kelly, could you page Megan Murray and ask her to come to my office."

"Right away." She said, hanging up the phone. I looked myself over in the mirror. Pulling my pencil skirt down, and turning to the side.

My ass looks good...

There was a knock on my door, snapping me out of my thoughts. I sat down behind my desk, trying to look like I was working. "Come in."

Megan walked in, sitting down in the chair across from me. Her face was pale, her eyes were red. I could tell she was becoming uncomfortable. "I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me with some stuff."

"Like?" She raised an eyebrow. I looked down at my computer.

"Just printing some stuff off and helping me get my office together." I looked up from my computer, smiling when we made eye contact.

She shifted in her chair, "How do you expect me to say no when you're basically begging with your eyes." She smiled.

"Perfect." I said. "Here, have some chocolate." I opened my desk draw, pulling out a Hershey's bar. She gladly took it, devouring it as if she hadn't eaten in days. "Megan, are you alright?"

She looked up from the chocolate bar, and I swear I could see the pain in her eyes, yet a she tried to play it off. "Yeah, I'm fine." She looked back down to the candy.

"Megan..." I said, my voice becoming soft. She looked up through her lashes. "What's the matter?"

"N-Nothing." She sat up straight. "Is that all you need? Because I do have classes to get to if you don't mind."

What the hell? Why is she acting like this?

It was as if she had put up a wall. She became defensive and rude. "Um, yeah. I guess that's all. Have a good rest of your day." Megan stood to her feet, grabbing her bag from the floor. She opened the door, but before she was out I called her name, "Don't forget about detention." I watched as she rolled her eyes and shut my door.

3:05 pm

It was after school, I had been waiting for Megan in the conference room for detention. I finally just told myself she wasn't showing up, and made my way to my office. Just as I reached for my door handle, a loud bang was heard outside. "Ugh, rain." I groaned.

3:15 pm

My head was pounding. I was so stressed from all the paperwork I had to fill out for the new students, that I got a headache. I went into my purse, digging around for some Advil. Finding the bottle, I popped two in my mouth and swallowed it down with some sweet tea. Just as I was going to go back to the paperwork, a knock was heard on my door. "It's open." I said, placing my head in my hands.

I heard the door creak open. "Miss West." I looked up, finding Megan standing there, soaking wet, with her hands behind her back.

"Megan, you're soaked!" I said, standing to my feet. I went towards my closet, to grab a blanket, but she stopped me.

"Here." She held out roses that she was hiding behind her back. "I felt bad for yelling at you earlier. I'm not that good with apologies." A smile formed on my face. I took the roses from her, bringing her into a short hug. She was shaking.

"That is very kind of you Megan." I placed them on my desk, then walked over to my closet, grabbing the blanket.

"Sorry I missed some of detention. I tried to leave early so I could go to the store but Mr. Taylor wouldn't let me." She apologized.

I wrapped the blanket around her, telling her to sit down. "That's alright. We can just stay in here until it's over."

The room was silent, except for the clicking of my keyboard. I looked up at Megan, to find her leaning her head on the side of the chair, her eyes closed.

She looked so cute.

Megan's POV:

"Megan." I heard a soft voice whisper. "Meg."

"Sarah?" I mumbled, my eyes still close. She was the only one who called me that.

"Megan." The voice said again, this time I was being shook. My eyes opened to find Miss West inches away from my face. Once she saw that I was awake, she backed up. "It's time to go."

I sat up, rubbing my eyes. I looked out her window to see that the sun was setting. "What time is it?" I said, my voice raspy. She was taken back. "Are you okay?"

Ashley's POV:

Oh god, her voice was so hot when she wakes up

"Yeah, sorry." I looked at my watch. "It's almost 6. Your parents are probably expecting you home."

"I live by myself." Megan said, standing up. She began to fold the blanket while I was processing what she said. "And my dad died awhile ago."

"Oh, I'm sorry Megan I-"

"Don't be." She interrupted me, handing the blanket back. "See you tomorrow." and with that she left the room. I sighed, gathering my stuff to go back home.

Everyone was gone, so when I walked out to the parking lot, it was empty, except for a white truck. It was parked two spots away from my BMW. I unlocked my car and began to put my stuff in it. "Miss West." I turned around and met eyes with Megan again. "My truck won't start, and my phone is dead. Could I use yours?"

"Yeah of course." I grabbed my phone out of my purse, unlocking it and handing it to her.

I watched as she called someone, but they didn't answer. "Shit." I heard her mumble. She handed me the phone back. "Thanks." Megan walked back over to her truck, trying to start it again.

"Hey Megan." I said, walking to the truck. "Let me give you a ride."

"No, that's really not necessary." She protested.

"Yes Megan. Get in the car." I insisted. She tried to argue with me, but failed.

While on the way to her apartment, she kept asking how she was going to get to school tomorrow morning. "Ask the friend who thinks I'm gay." I heard Megan let out a laugh. "What?"

"You are gay." She said.

"Yeah, but she doesn't know that!" I said, laughing. I stopped at a red light, looking around at our surroundings.

"Turn left." Megan directed. The music was down low, but I heard my favorite song.

"This is my favorite." We said in sync. We looked at each other and laughed. I reached for the volume and my hand met Megan's. Butterflies flew through my body.
"S-Sorry." She pulled away. The light turned green.

I have to stop this attraction.

Just as we pulled into her apartment complex, she unbuckled. "Thank you Miss West."

I smiled, "Anytime. Thanks again for the flowers." I pulled her in for a hug, feeling her lips brush past my cheek on accident.

Kill me now please.

When she pulled away, she smiled, getting out of the car. "See ya tomorrow."
