It did not last for very long. Jack opens his eyes and looks to his left, he finds a big white disk-shaped blob. It was staring at him. Monica looks at the same unknown creature, both nervous and confused.

"What is that?" Monica asks Jack

"Not a creature from the cretaceous period, I'll tell you that." Jack replies.

"Do you know what it is?" She asks

"No."

It was glowing in the dark. They were staring at the thing; the thing was staring at them.

Four seconds later, it has disappeared into the darkness.

Both too nervous to continue making out, they go to bed.

4,000 meters in, and Chris finally wakes up, goes to the main lounge, and sits down and finds the rest of the crew drinking coffee, he then goes to the fridge and grabs a beer.

"It's barely 11." Jennifer says.

"Never a bad time to drink me some alcohol."

"Even if you're dying of thirst? Or cancer? Or being eating by, I don't know, a mosasaur?"

"Okay then, Misses takes shit too literally."
She laughs, he pops the beer open, drinking nearly half the bottle in a sip or two.

"We probably missed a lot of dinosaurs while sleeping." He says, looking at Jack's eyes.

Jack sighs, smirks, shakes his head. "You did miss some disk-shaped creature that showed up right after you slept, it was creepy, I felt like the creature knew what he was doing. As if he was creating a plan."

"Do you have a name created for it?"
"No, not yet."

"Diskasourus" Jennifer says jokingly, pissing Jack off.

"Okay, very funny."

"Seriously, that's one weird dinosaur."

"Okay, stop."

"It probably had a terrifying roar."
"Actually, dinosaurs didn't roar, they quacked like ducks."

"I don't understand why you know so much about dinosaurs when you study herbivorous creatures."

"Because, it was my dream to become a paleontologist when I was a kid, I studied all I could about dinosaurs, but 'complicated' things got into the way and I had to study these."

"Got it."

5,000 meters deep and they see a swarm of jellyfish, lighting up the ocean.

"They light up the water better than 30 of our flashlights." Chris says.

"They're beautiful."

Monica says, looking at Jack.

"But your eyes are brighter and ten times more beautiful."

Jack replies.

"Now that, is how you flirt."

She replies.

"Get a room." Chris says.

They were kissing.

"WHAT? SERIOUSLY, WHAT?" Chris yells.

"WHY IS NO ONE WEIRDED OUT BY THIS? GUYS? GUUUYSS?" He says.

"We knew."

"KNEW WHAT?"

"They're dating."

"WHAT WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME I CAN NOT DO THIS I NEED A BEER."
They laugh.
