Realization

"Well Lance...." Pidge said, wheeling around in her spiny chair.

"Looks like the crystal really is still in the tower....it's infection spread." She added with a sigh before grabbing her laptop and undoing all the cords hooked up to the wall.

Lance's breath hitched, as both him and Keith were awake and waiting for Pidge's final answer.

"Well, did you locate the source?" Keith asked, clutching Lance's hand tightly. Her mouth opened and then closed again. Her laptop was flipped open for the second time as she tapped on her keys furiously before her eyes were filled with even more despair.

"Keith, come over here." She said, removing her glasses before rubbing her eyes into her palms. The digital screen was an outline of the room and a small radar looking program in the corner. Pidge clicked a button and the little satellite on the side of her computer started spinning wildly before it was directed right at Lance, who's eyes were wide open now. The outline of his figure began to glow repeatedly a bright purple, right near his midsection. More purple dots were scattered and multiplied as Lance began to shift out of bed and wobble towards them.

"Lance, what are you doing?" Keith said and rushed to his side, steadying his tanned partner.

"What are you looking at? Why is that satellite pointing towards me?" Lance asked, his lip quivering.

"Lance, this galra crystal....Sendak never put it on the ship, it wasn't planned, it came out of nowhere. This crystal, has been inside you for years Lance, and it's spreading its virus like venom."

"What?!" Keith yelped, his knees going weak in worry.

"Lance, if we don't remove that crystal, you'll die."
