Eddie lays next to an asleep Parker and all she can think about is Luca. Two almost three years they have been roommates. Eddie has been attracted to Luca since the day she met him. He is an Italian god after all. The body. The accent. But Eddie knew she never stood a chance. Luciano Morreti is a playboy, a man whore, whatever you want to call it. Eddie knew they were better as roommates, as friends, she didn't want to get her heart broken.

Parker's body moves next to him and her gaze falls on his face as his eyes flutter open.
"Good morning beautiful."

"Morning" Eddie says with a smile. Parker is a reliable guy and he is attractive. He is good for her. A good match.

Eddie phone buzzes on the nightstand.
"You get that I'm going to see what I can scrounge up for breakfast" Parker says and with a kiss on the forehead he leave her to her phone call.

Eddie presses the phone it her ear.

"Si gorgeous. How are you this fine morning?"

"I'm fine. What is up with you?"

"Nothing just checking in on my favourite girl."

"What about Sienna?"

"No one is better than you mi amore."

"Are you calling for a reason?"

"Someone is snappy. Do you have company Miss Jenkins?"

"Yes Parker is here and I would rather not leave him alone with your brother."

"If you dated Luca this wouldn't be a problem."

"Mark! First your mum now you! Luca doesn't date. And if he did he certainly wouldn't date me. Look can we talk later."

"Eddison I'm sorry -"

"Don't worry about it. I'll call you later okay?" Eddie says as she walks out of her bedroom.

"Ciao Bella."

Eddie puts her phone down on the kitchen bench next to where Parker is sitting. Luca has his back to them cooking breakfast.

"Listen to you speaking Italian" Parker says nudging her with his elbow.

"I had to learn something. Living with brothers who constantly speak it, it was a challenge I could never understand."
