Repercussions of his Deception -A collection of poems-

One day,

My lips will remember how to smile.

One day,

I will walk down aisle.

With a satisfied sigh,

I’ll watch you stare,

At me,

In the arms of some wealthy heir.

Deceiving me will be your only regret.

A foolish mistake you’d wish me to forget.

That day,

My lips will finally curl up into a smile.

That day,

My mocking laugh will be versatile.

Hi ppl! So this is my very first attempt at poetry. I am an ex-poetry hater. But i seem to have developed a liking for it...I hope u like it!

The theme of the poems here will be same: deception.
