Chapter 1- Arrival

The world started coming into view. It was dark. Really dark. Not Utah dark, I knew we were some were else. Were we, there? I look at the time. 2:00 am. That's a lot of gas stations, I think to myself. The drive is like 4 hours so that means that he spent an hour at stops. Figures.

We went into the hotel, we didn't have beds at our new place yet, and I snacked on some oreos while my dad got our stuff. I must have made a lot of noise, because the neighbor on my left banged on the wall. I went up to were the sound came from and pressed my ear to the wall.

"HOW DID YOU WIN?" That voice. It sounded familiar, but not at the same time. It was kind of squeaky, not really though, it got really high in the first sentence, but once he started lowering his voice I could tell he was gaming. Who was he talking to? He might have been a you tuber, but then he wouldn't be saying names. I heard him sign off just as my dad walked up to the door. I opened it and was almost in a daze as I helped him settle in.

I snuggled into my bed, and stared at the wall. 'I know your over there, I just don't know who you are.' I whisper in my head. Then, the blessed curse of sleep wrapped me in its arms as I was engulfed in a world of soft darkness.

Jordan's POV (aaawww man its gonna get interesting!)

I signed off as I heard guests coming into the hotel room on my right. I looked out the window, and who was that? Wait, was that, CHUCK NORRIS? I blinked, and he was gone. I really need to go to bed sooner, I told myself. I look out again into the parking lot to see a large U-Haul that wasn't there before. Oh, they must be moving. No duh Jordan.

I heard some soft voices coming from the room on my right, wow they need better insulation, the voices were that of a male and female. I push my ear to the wall, and hear the girl tell an internet meme to the man, I assume its her dad, and he has no clues what she's talking about. I hold back a laugh at this, typical. I really shouldn't have listened in like that, but I couldn't help myself. I lay back in bed and go over tomorrows plans.

My in-laws will be gone, so I can shower and see if the new people are moving anywhere near me. Its always fun to help people settle in. I decided that I would find them in the morning and offer my hand. Besides, the girl sounds kinda my age, a little, it needs to mature a little bit, but if she's old enough that might give me some opportunities. I lay down, close my eyes, and next thing I know I'm kissing seananners.

I wake up, not fully knowing what's going on. "Did, did adam just kiss me?" I say aloud. Whatever, must've just been a dream. I got up to get ready for the day, by putting on my normal basketball shorts and black tee. I shave, make my hair presentable,and put on a new beanie. Its not THE beanie everyone obsesses over, I sold that one in an extra life live stream for $800 raising money for charity. This one was just plain gray.

Hear noise from next door, and remember the plans I had for today. I packed my stuff away, checked out, and went over to my neighbors.
