*19 - Sita Rescued

Start from the beginning

While I wait, I heard the horrific scream of Daemon Ravana, which shakes the whole of Lanka. "My son is dead." The trees, flowers and the air jerked as if severe thunderbolt hit Lanka.

Trijata flies beside me. "While Indrajit Lakshman and Hanuman enter the cave. There was a ferocious battle finally with an arrow from Indra Waksman killed his Indrajit before he could pray to God Angi."

Just then, Ravana jumps on the wall to the Asoko garden. He followed by Suka, a Crow, who looks like his sister. All his arms have swords, all his head glare with anger searching at me. Silently and calmly with Trijata, we hide in the trees.

The crow squawks, "To kill a woman over a kingdom is shameful." Ravana screams and snarls, "Still, I will not give up Sita, I will do as I desire with her. I will dance on the walls of Lanka for all the gods, the two mere men, and weak animals to observe my power."

All that night the Rakshasa guards, the god's wife, Trijata, and I sit together and hear Ravana shouts for his victory and feel the vibration of the ground as he dances on the walls.

Near morning, the Rakshasas women gossip that Ravana threatened the God of Time and the God of Death that they cannot kill him because he is born of the God Brahma. God Kala of Time answered, "You stole a woman who defies you, she is pure. You will pay." Ravana laughed, "Love is eternal, I gamble my life for the love of Sita."

Eyes of the Rakshasa women watch me with wonder, amazement, and fear. They whisper, "Sita has undone Ravana, he is mad."

Trijata looks me in the eyes, "I told you, Sita. My dreams are true. Please, forgive the Rakshasas."

We hear shouts and screams of battle. "Sita, I will go and report what happens." The wasp disappears. The women sit along the wall of the Asoko Gardens listening. Some women prayer as I do to all the Gods watching.

After hours of waiting, flowers fall from the Heaven; I hope the battles end and Rama won. Trijata returns, she glows and happily hugs me. The other women who worry move closer. "Sita, Sita! What good news, my husband, Vibhishana, is now King of Lanka." The Rakshasa women shout; the wives of the gods cry.

More flowers float down from Heavens.

I weep, "At last freed for the torments of Daemon Ravana, Rama comes to take me home."

"Sita, here are clean clothes and jewels. While you clean and dress, I will tell about the battle. All waited, Rakshasa men sat on the walls around the city, and the animals stood ready with sticks and rocks. Covered with the allusion, Ravana rushed from Lanka's gates in Indra's chariot drawn by four huge horses. Rama faced him on the ground. Arrows flew everywhere. Finally, Indra gave Rama a chariot drawn by three large horses. More arrows soar through the sky. Finally, Rama hurled a spear that made smoke and flamed at the tip as it passed in the air, most slowly. The spear cut through Ravana's armor and entered his chest into his heart sliding through to the earth. Ravana fell. No shouts of glory yelled only silence of relief. God Vayu of the Wind helped with the speed of the Brahmastra spear."

I wept, "Rama always carried the silver and gold arrows and spear, they were of power, I never know how much."

"Rama called Vibhishana and in front of the animals and the Rakshasas declared him King of Lanka. Vibhishana asks to burn his brother Ravana in the city; Rama gave permission."

"Trijata, wonderful for you and the Rakshasas. Rama is just and knows Vibhishana deserves, the Rakshasas forgiven."

Trijata and the Rakshasa women smile. "While you dress, Vibhishana shows Rama, Lakshman, and Hanuman the treasures stored in the City of Lanka that he will protect for the worlds, this is his Dharma; he is a Rakshasa, the great, great, grandson of Brahma."

I wait. Rama does not appear. I have great sadness and concern and cry. Hanuman comes saying a hut built, Rama rests. Hanuman and Trijata take me to Rama.

Rama welcomed me with disapproval I saw in his eyes. I called on Angi, the Fire God to prove my purity, my loyal to my husband, Rama. I asked Lakshman to built a fire. I enter and return from Agni's fire to prove to Rama my innocents with Ravana. God Agni did not hurt the human Sita, I faithful beyond any doubts from anyone, those who were with me knew of my traumas and my faithfulness that Rama would avenge his wife.

Indra, the God of the Heavens, brought Rama's father Dasaratha to witness the Ikshraka clan's name by his sons, Rama, Lakshman, and devotee Hanuman cleansed and restored to honor. My Father, Janaka, presented me again to Rama.

Flowers fall from the Heavens.

Rama, Hanuman, Lakshman and I fly back to Ayodhya in the Pushpaka. Rama crowned King of Ayodhya, and I am his Queen. Then the rumors of the court start. I am taken to the ashram of Valmiki, where I birth my twin sons, Lava and Kusha; Rama is their father, he does not know.

~~~~~~~~~
Valmiki assures, "Sita no frets, I have written our poem for Rama." Valmiki hugs me. "I'll teach the verses to the twins, who will go to Rama's court and sing our poem. Rama will recognize them. He carries a golden Sita by his side. He is only a man, who forgets he is the Lord Naravaya, Vishnu."
The twins with lute and drum walked about the land spreading the Epic Ramayana with the heroic deeds of their father, Rama, and their Mother, who served her husband with honor, faith, and loyalty. They sang the nine-hour poem to King Rama court.
Rama calls for his faithful. I arrive at the court dressed in gold and reds. Rama, Hanuman, Lakshman and their wives greet a wife trusting, beautiful, and faithful. Only, I was tired. I ask my Mother Earth, "If I was true and loyal to Rama, take me home." The earth opens, and I cuddle on my mother's lap.
Flowers fell from the heavens while Gods Brahma, Indra, Shiva, Goddess P; Angi, and Vayu watched.
~~~~~~~~

The heavenly Poet Narada sings:

Down Sita went with her earthly mother, Goddess Prithiva from the Shaki energies of Deva, and the earth closed.

Rama, Rama preserver of the worlds,

Loyal Sita serves you with her heart.

~~~~~~~~
Years later when the twins become Kings of Ayodhya, Rama walked to the banks of the Ganges with his golden Sita, which he leaves on the beach. He entered the waters of the Ganges, and the Goddess took him home.
Vishnu rests on his lotus, on top of the endless snake, Sesha, floating on the waters of the world; Lakshmi rubs his feet; Brahma above meditating; Shiva dancing the rhythm the worlds on his reign of fire on his mountain. Indra rebuilt his heavenly city, and the Rakshasas are rebuilding Lanka.
Bells Ring!
Rama was an earthly man.
Loyal wife Sita with her heart served his will.
