Kol's pov
It's been 3 months since the whole Sandra trying to kill Davina fiasco happened and things have been great me, Davina and Zander moved out of the compound and moved into a house of our own a month after, our house isn't far from the compound which is good, the house has four bedrooms but we turned one of the rooms into a playroom just for Zander and of course the little one when she or he is here and old enough, there's also two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, a small basement which Davina uses to practice magic and where we teach Zander spells and a big garden which Zander loves to play in. That's not the only thing though Davina is now 5 months pregnant, her baby bump is the most wonderful type of magic I've ever seen, knowing that's my child in there growing and Davina has never looked more beautiful, her skin is so soft and radiant, her beautiful blue eyes sparkle more and because of the baby bump she looks smaller than she usually she is which I find very cute but Nik finds it hilarious and makes fun of her but Davina always throws him into a wall or snaps his neck which I find hilarious anyway I love happy and carefree Davina is with her pregnancy she's just so relaxed, everynight when she's asleep I'll lie awake stroking her bump and talking to the baby and I've never felt more joy than feeling my child kick, I almost cried the first time I felt the baby kick
Flasback- a month ago
Me and Davina were sat watching a film, Davina was laughing at one of the characters when she stopped and placed a hand on her bump "what's wrong love?" I ask worriedly "give me your hand" she says "what?" I ask confused without saying anything she gently takes my hand and places my hand on her bump "wait for it" she says I just leave my hand on her bump for a few seconds when suddenly something presses against my hand making my eyes widen in shock "was that..." I start but Davina cuts me off finishing my sentence "the baby yes it was" she says with a smile "wow that's our child it's really in there" I say stroking her bump "it sure is" she replies "oh wow" I say teary eyed as I feel another kick "does it hurt?" I ask "no it's more relaxing than anything" she replies "this is amazing" I say in awe my looks completely on her baby bump, I grin when the baby kicks again "she or he likes your voice" Davina says "do you think so?" I ask "I know so she or he knows the voice of their daddy" she says "oh god I love you baby" I say leaning forward and kissing her passionately as happy tears run down my face "I love you too" she mumbles into the kiss, just then the baby kicks again causing us to pull away and laugh "don't worry I love you too little darling" I say to her bump talking to our unborn child.
Present
That was one of the best days in my entire 1000 years existence and now Davina's a little bigger everytime the baby kicks I can just about see a tiny foot press against her bumps it's the most wonderful thing ever.
