Chapter 30

Ambers POV

I just got back from visiting my mum, When I stepped out of the elevator and went to the kitchen to get a bottle of water and some strawberries from the fridge, there was a note on the door that had my name on it, I opened it, it read:

Hey Amber,

I've got something planned for tonight so go to the bedroom and get ready... I'll pick you up at 6:30pm

Love Chuck xx 

I put the letter down and headed to the bedroom, there was a box on the bed with a little letter on top, it read:

Wear this xx C.B 

 I picked up the dress and it was a white floral printed dress, it was beautiful (Dress Above) I put it back on the bed and went into the bathroom, I had a shower and shaved, I then put on my robe and did my makeup, I did a natural smokey eye look with baby pink lipstick, I then blow dried my hair while my curling iron was heating up. 

I checked the time and saw that it was 6:00pm so I had half an hour to get ready. I quickly curled my hair and then I went into the bedroom and put on some undergarments and then put on the dress and a pair of Nude heels. 

 I was about to walk out of the bedroom when the door opened and there stood Chuck.

"Wow, you like uh stunning." He said

"Thanks." I said.

We were in the limo. "Where are we going?" I asked

"It's a surprise." he said. 

After about 5-10 minutes we arrived, Chuck helped me out and he took us into a fancy little Italian restaurant, the waiter showed us to our table and we ordered a glass of champagne each.

I ordered a chicken risotto, we made small talk throughout our meal, we then went to starbucks and ordered coffee and a dessert, I got a chocolate chip muffin, my favourite with a hot chocolate with marshmallows.

I was about to put the marshmallows into the hot chocolate when I noticed a ring on it, I smiled wide hoping it was for me.

Chuck then stood up took my hand and the ring in his and got on down on one knee and asked those 4 words?

"Amber Nicole Campbell, I have loved you so much, I can't imagine my life without you, we've had our ups and downs but I can't imagine my life without you so will you marry me?" He asked

I nodded and he slid the ring onto my finger while I stood up and kissed him...
