I sat in the art room looking out the window with a blank canvas in front of me. I grabbed my paintbrush and palette. I dabbed the paintbrush into some blue paint and began to gently drag it across the canvas. I stuck my tongue out in concentration and painted on the canvas. I hummed softly to myself as I looked up from my canvas to look outside. The trees were slightly swaying from the wind and several petals were carried by the wind. I smiled and went back to my painting.
About two hours later, I finally finished my painting. I put down my paintbrush and palette then looked at my painting. I grinned proudly at my artwork. The painting were several trees swaying in the wind while petals were floating in the air along with several grassy hills in the background on a slightly cloudy day.
I had several smudges of paint on my face along with a bunch of paint on the cloth I was wearing over my real clothes. I took off the cloth and hung it up. I set the painting aside for it to dry then began to put away the supplies.
There was a gentle knock on the door, making me stop what I was doing. "Who is it?" I asked. "It's me. Eli." The voice said from the other side of the door. "Oh come in!" I replied and continued my cleaning. Eli walked into and smiled at me. "Hello (Y/N). I thought you would be in here." She said. "Really now? So why did you come in here? To find little old me? Or did you come here because you were bored." I teased, taking a seat next to her.
She rolled her eyes and glared at me playfully. "Like I would come to you when I'm bored." "How rude!" I fake gasped and got up dramatically. "And here's me thinking that you loved me," I said dramatically, placing my hands over my heart. She giggles and gets up from her seat. She goes over to me then wraps her arms around my neck.
"I do love you (Y/N). Why else are we dating?" She smiled softly. "So I can paint you as one of my French girls." I joked. She blushed and hit my shoulder, causing me to laugh. "Sorry, Eli. I couldn't help myself." I grinned at her, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"You tease too much (Y/N)," Eli said with a pout on her face. "Hey, I don't always tease! Sometimes I flirt and compliment you!" I corrected her. She smiles and gently pecks my lips.
"I know babe. But you tease the most." She said. I shrugged and smiled at her. I pulled her closer and rest my chin on top of her head. "What are you still doing here Eli? Didn't you go home already?" I said. She shook her head and laid her head on my shoulder. "I had papers to do. I told Nozomi to go home an hour ago." She told me, playing with strands of my hair.
I nodded and kissed her cheek. "I painted something. Wanna see it?" I asked. She looked at me brightly and nodded excitedly. I chuckled and smiled. I could always count on Eli to appreciate what I do. She always tells me that my paintings and drawings were one of a kind and that she thinks every single one is beautiful in its own way. She was my inspiration for most of the things I did. She would encourage me and help me through tough times whenever I'm upset or frustrated over whatever I was doing.
I took her hand and led her to the painting I justify recently painted. She smiled and squeezes my hand. "It's beautiful (Y/N). Just like everything else you make." She said, leaning against me. I smiled and looked at her. "Thank you, Eli. For sticking with me ever since the first year." I said. She looks at me and cups my right cheek. "There's no need to thank me. I'm happy I get to be with you. Being your girlfriend is all I can ask for." She whispers, loud enough the two of us to hear.
I smiled and pulled her into a hug. I held onto her for dear life, never wanting to let go. She did the same and smiled against my shoulder. "I'm tired (Y/N). Let's go home." Eli said, yawning in the process. I nodded then pulled away to hold her hand. The two of us left the art room and began to walk home.
