I walked into the office, and was greeted with a pissed off mom.
"We'll talk about this when we get home." She said as calm as she could, before walking towards the door.
"That's not my home." I said confidently.
"Excuse me. Colby this isn't up for discussion. I'm not playing either." She said looking me dead in the eyes.
I rolled my eyes and walked out of the office.
I walked out of the school and into the car.
It was about two minutes before mom got into the car.
It was a silent drive to the house.
We didn't look nor say a word to each other.
But once we pulled into the driveway, that was a totally different story.
Before she parked the car I jumped out, and ran towards the door.
"Get back here young lady!" She screamed.
I opened the door and ran in, trying to lock the door but she got there faster.
She closed the door and looked at me.
"What is your problem?" She asked with a frown on her face.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Why would you go off to school without even telling me?"
I sighed and walked to the kitchen.
"Don't walk away from me young lady!"
I picked up the note and put it in her hands.
As she started reading the note, I walked to the fridge and got out a water.
I know boring right.
"I'll let tho one slide, but next time just tell me." She said throwing away the note. "By the way all of us are going somewhere later on at 5:30, so be ready by 5." She said.
I muttered an okay and headed up the stairs.
I started to go to my room but knew I would just get bored, so I went to our workout room.
As I was punching the punching bag, I noticed a door in the corner of the room.
My curiosity got the best of me as I went towards it, and decided to open it.
What I saw amazed me.
It was a flower garden.
I probably didn't tell you this but I love nature.
There was even a little house in the middle of it, but the problem was I would have to go through the maze.
I knew it would take me awhile to go through so decided to wait until tomorrow to do so.
I closed the door, and made sure no one was looking. I don't want anyone to know about this. And I can't let anyone no about this.
"We're here!" Mom said as we parked the car.
There was none of us so we went into separate cars.
The boys went into their S.U.V, and mom, S.J, and I rode together.
We got out of the car and waited for the guys.
"Now girls I know you haven't really met your brothers-"
"Step brothers." I said.
"Step brothers. Anyways, you two haven't bonded with them and vice versa. So Randal and I decided to take the seven of you and have a fun day. Well afternoon." She said.
"Mom what's the point in doing something that's not going to help later on in life?" S.J asked.
She just took the words out of my mouth.
"S.J Taylor Adams. This is going to help you later on in life. Those boys are going to be apart of the rest of your life. Surely you can't live that time avoiding them."
We crossed our arms and looked at mom giving her look saying, "this is us we are talking about."
She rolled her eyes and started walking towards the building in front of us.
"Where are the boys anyways?" I asked.
"They had to make a few stops before they stopped here, but it won't take long."
That's what they all say.
As we pulled out of the store parking lot, I noticed the tention in the car.
"So how have you boys liked your sisters?" I decided to ask.
"Their our step sister." Samuel said leaning his head on the door.
"Well you and Colby are in the same grade so surely you've talked to her a few times."
"Nope." They said in unison.
"Well you all are just going to have to learn to get along. None of you have talked to each other at all. Marian and I don't want that for the seven of you so that's why we are taking you to this place to have fun and get to know each other." I said as I pulled into the parking lot.
"What if we don't want to get to know each other? Plus I'm pretty sure the girls don't either." Micah said.
I pulled into a parking space and parked.
"Your probably right, but we're going to do our best to not make that a reality." I said confidently getting out of the car.
Once the boys showed up we went in this place called 'Family Fun Night'.
(A/N: I don't know if that is a real place. I just made it up.)
They gave us a stamp just in case we walked out of the building and walked back in.
As we walked through the gate thing, mom told the seven us to stay together and have fun while they want inside the mall that was connected to the place.
S.J and I turned around and looked at the boys who I noticed to be the most popular boys in my school.
Samuel, Micah, Riley, Liam, and Luca Stewart.
We all stared at each other for a while until Luca broke the silence.
"Hi I'm Luca Alejandro Stewart, and the youngest of these four idiots." He said holding his hand out.
My sister and I just stared at his face.
"Okay. Obviously you two aren't talkers, which is fine. I'm pretty sure we are going to be good friends." He said bringing us both into a side hug.
