Damn. Lord knows I didn't want to deal with my mama's bullshit. Should I pretend to stay sleep? Yeah. Imma do that. Shit, I hear her big ass feet coming down the hallway. Fuck, fuck, fuck!
"Bitch! I KNOW you heard me calling your fucking name!" Oh, this is my mama, the drunken, drug addict, junky ass hoe. Hell, why don't even call her mama? She doesn't do SHIT for Koi. Koi got her own backside. I don't need nobody but me.
She came to my dirty floor bed and snatched the covers back, then grabbed my tank top pulling me up, and ripping it in the process. Pop! She smacked me hard as fuck. I wish I could kill this dirty bitch. I hate her.
I touched my lip, and brought my finger down to look at it. Blood.
"When I call your name, you fucking come! Dumb bitch!" And the fact that she was all in my face when your breath and body smelled like a crack head's unwashed pussy, made me fucking sick.
After she left, I got up and went to wake my 15 year old sister Kai up. She slept right beside me, how the fuck did she not hear that? Oh, & we're twins. Stuck together like glue, I mean, we were like the sticks on Kit Kats, stuck together.
"Kai, get up."
"Mhmmmm. Five more minutes Koiiiii." She whined. I hate waking her dumb ass up.
"Kai, ain't nobody playing, get the hell up!" I yelled smacking her butt. She jumped up rubbing her eyes. She looked at my face and her eyes bulged. She grabbed my chin turn my lip towards her.
"Koi what the fuck? Man I'm sick of this shit!"
I pulled her hand away from my bruised lip.
"I know... I can't keep doing this Kai." I started to tear up. We've been going through this shit since our grandmother died. She used to take care of us because our trash ass "mom" couldn't, so after she died, we went back into her care 5 months ago.
Kai wiped my tears and looking into my eyes.
"We need to stick it out. Maybe we can get some money built up to leave. I don't know, but I promise you, we won't be staying here." I pulled her into a hug.
"Now," I said wiping my tears, "get the fuck up so we can go to school." We both laughed. I love her so much. I can't wait till we get out of here.
