My life has not always been this good. I was dropped off at a random fire station in Connecticut. I spent 6 years in foster care. From 6 to 12 I bounced from foster home back to foster care to another foster home. I have seen so much of not only the United States but so much of England and Germany. On my 13th birthday I was finally adopted and I have been living with that family since then. I just turned 22, I love to cook so when I heard that a camp was looking for a cook I jumped at the chance to do what I loved.

Your parents were decent, they didn't hit you when they were drunk but they road your ass about school and when you graduated they assumed you would be going to be a doctor or some other fancy-pants thing. They never saw you wanting to be a writer coming and it slapped them hard when you left and started writing books.
