Zula lives in the New World, a terrifying place filled with power hungry leaders that control almost everything, a strict hierarchy, and emotionless citizens. She must learn to survive, or she will be terminated.
Shortly after graduation, Zula finds herself noticing strange attacks from violent rebel forces. The rebels are searching for something they lost, something they think can be used to end the Elder monarchy.
When Zula finds out what they are looking for, she is afraid of what will happen next. Especially when she unravels the truth about the past.
