I hopped out of the shower after drying myself off, then wrapped my fluffy white gown around my form.

Kyle and Trinity were at it again.

This really isn't a healthy practice, and I hope they know that. I was about to open my bedroom door to get changed so I could go to sleep when I heard three abnormally loud and metallic bangs that didn't sound like the usual. The whole house grew eerily silent. I froze.

"Oh no, this can't be happening."

One of them must have been driven over the edge this time and opened the family safe; where the hand gun is kept.

I rushed down the hall and made a quick left turn. At the end of it where there was supposed to be a painting with a locked safe securely behind it, was now replaced with a broken canvas on the floor and an empty safe. The gun was gone.

"Shit, hope those were only warnings fired."

I ran to Trinity's room to see if anyone was there but found no one, her bed sheets were on the floor and her lamp was broken again. I ran to Kyle and Moms room to find it in a similar state, no one was there either.

To my relief I heard shouting coming from downstairs. If I'm lucky, I'd find both of them still alive. Practically flying down the stairs without making a sound, I thought I heard crying and more than one male voice coming from the dining room. I came to yet another halt.

I starred at the floor in front of me. Leading from the end of the stairs into the lounge was a trail of blood. Halfway there the blood smudged on the white tiles indicating some sort of struggled.

With shaky steps I continued forward, trying to ignore the fact that there was blood that I stepped in without shoes. I stopped by the entrance and looked in carefully. Kyle was huddled in the far corner holding a crying Trinity protectively.

I could only see four men all dressed in black from head to toe, three of which held fairly large guns and other weapons. At the moment, they just stood there watching their hostages silently. Well two of them were. The biggest man kept looking at his watch and the other starred out the window impatiently. All captors wore balaclavas so I couldn't identify them through facial recognition.

"What the hell 's taking him so long? This was supposed to be my night off. Damn, you guys will never learn; don't take away a women's bonding time, they get hella cranky! But no, you just had to steal me away. And what's waiting for me when I get back? An ass whipping!" The one at the window talked to himself then pulled out a phone.

"Hey, they got Wi-fi! Oh yeah password... Twinkie." He typed in the correct code. Now that I think about it, he seems to be the youngest, maybe even my age. Something about his voice is also familiar.

The next man closest to him was the biggest whom previously eyed his watch. He was buff with broad shoulders and an aura of dominance. I think he was the leader. The other two were roughly the same height and maybe in their late 20's.

The leader groaned walking to the teenager, taking his phone and knocking him upside the head. How did that kid even know our Wi-fi password anyway? Oh whatever.

"Look there has to be something you want. Something that we- money? Do you want money? Look we can give it to you, everything you want just..." Kyle began rambling on but was interrupted.

"We don't want your blood money fool. Now keep quiet, same goes for your girl over there." The leader commanded bluntly. Immediately Trinity's sobs became hushed. I have to do something, and quick.

The gun was kicked aside a little ways from Trinity. If I could distract them long enough, she could get a hold of it and get some leverage. But then again, she goes into things blindly a lot and can't aim to save a life. That bullet could go anywhere. Maybe I could call the police, yeah that's totally a better idea, it'll just take them an hour or two to get here! But it's better than the first option...
