Chapter Fourteen: A New Face

"Miss? Miss? MISS?" I heared him called me consecutively.

"Huh? Ah po?" I babbled in a haste reply.

Dang! I just realized that I haven't heared a single thing on what he just said. It may be so embarassing to admit but that's because I am ogling at him like a total idiot this whole while. Actually, to be honest, right now, I still am.

I closed my eyes and shook my head a little, removing the web in my thoughts.

Pwede ba Mary Dale parang ngayon ka lang nakakita ng gwapo ah! Nawala agad sa sarili? Tulala ang peg? Chill uy! Focus. Kalma!

"Miss ano ok ka na? Pwede na tayo mag-usap?" He then asked me again, still with that charming smile.

Killer!

This guy can be the Philippines' next top matinee idol if he wanted to. What a charmer!

At in fairness ah hindi naman mukhang suplado. Medyo may pagka-antipatiko nga lang ang mga hirit pero may bahid pa din ng pagka-gentleman. Hmmm. I mused inside my mind.

In between having those thoughts I nodded in reponse to his question.

"Itatanong ko lang sana kung sa'yo ba ito? Parang narinig ko kasi kanina na may hinahanap ka eh. Ito ba?" He lifted his hand and show me something.

Wait wait..what's that? I looked at the thing that he's holding.

My eyes widened as I realized what it is. Ogling completely forgotten.

"HOMAYGAD!" I suddenly screamed on top of my lungs.

Because on his hand is my precious snowflake bracelet! He found it! Thank God!

"Nakita mo! Oh my gosh! Thank you as in thank you! Sandali ah teka lang wait bababa ako dyan!" I muttered so fast, not even giving him a chance to talk back.

After, I immediately ran off to go to him. I ran so fast though without a care on anything anymore. Right at that moment all that has been going through my mind is that I have to get that bracelet back. As in right now directly.

"Uy Te May! San ka punta? Mag-start na orientation." Vivoree yelled at me as I passed by her along the way.

I didn't even stop however I slowed down a bit and looked back before saying aloud, "Oo susunod na. Sandali lang."

"Teka bakit ba nagmamali ka? Huy Te May? TE MAY!"

I just barely heared her last words anymore because I was so fast that I already put some great deal of a distance in between us even only after a few seconds.

Sorry Viv. Later. I mused mutedly as I continue to run.

When I finally reached the exit I searched for that guy right away. It didn't take me that long to find him though because I can see him walking towards me now already. On his right hand he is holding a big folded umbrella while right in between his arm and body in that same side, he held a thin plastic suitcase. His left hand however is closed in where I pressume he is holding my bracelet. I walk fastly towards him and meet him halfway.

"Ha...ha..hi!" I said. I am still panting from all that running.

I probably looked like a mess in front of this handsome stranger right at this moment but I don't care anymore. Above all, what's important is I get my bracelet back as soon as possible.

"Oh Miss ok ka lang? Hinga muna. Hingal na hingal ka eh." He said. "Tama ba sa'yo ba 'to?" He then asked and showed me what he's holding.

I gasped. It is really is it! There's no mistake. It's definitely my snowflake bracelet!
