Stop Time (Mephisto X Reader)

Then, Let It Go...

That morning, I woke up slowly.

I slowly got dressed...

I slowly got my things together...

and I slowly walked to class with Amaimon in my hood again.

"Can't you go a little faster? It's getting quite hot in this hood" Amaimon said and I sighed. "Sorry buddy. I'm just slow and tired today. I'll try to get there as soon as I can"  I said, walking a little faster. I then arrived to the class room, seeing everyone entering.

"Hey (Y/N)! You look really tired" Shiemi said and I nodded. "Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night, but I can get through the day" I said and she smiled. We then walked into the class room and sat down at our desk's. I then picked Amaimon out of my sweater and put him down on my desk.

"So, I am just gonna sit here?" He asked. "Of course not. Mephisto said you liked cherry lollypops, so here" I said, getting a few lollypops out of my bag and giving them to Amaimon, who ripped off the wrapper and started chowing down on them.

All of class he was able to stay busy while I focused on Yukio teach us new subjects and old ones too. At the end of the lesson, Amaimon had finished off all of the lollypops I gave him at the start of them lesson and I had been able to get all my notes down without being distracted by Amaimon or falling asleep like Rin does.

"Okay, that's it for today. Tomorrow you will be working with familiars and magic charms, but for now you are all dismissed" Yukio said and we all stood up, getting our stuff together and stuffing Amaimon in my hood.

Why do we have such a short day today? 

I then walked up to Yukio's desk and he looked up at me. "Do you need something Miss (Y/L/N)?" Yukio asked. "Yeah. Why was it such a short day?" I asked and I heard him chuckle. "I guess nobody told ya, huh? Today was so short because I have a mission to go on with the other Exorcists, so everyone gets a half day" Yukio explained and I nodded. "Okay, thanks teach'" I said and Yuki nodded as I walked out of the classroom.

I started to walk with everyone down the hall, talking and laughing about Shiema's stupid jokes and pickup lines. I was having fun with them. Me and Rin then walked back to the door and went into the kitchen where lunch was sitting there and we gobbled it up. We then split up and went back to our rooms.

Wow, time was passing by quickly...

"(Y/N)?" Amaimon said and I looked at the cute little rodent. "It's the afternoon, right?" he asked and I nodded. "We can go to my brothers. It's quite boring sitting around doing nothing" Amaimon said and a large smile jumped onto my face. "Amaimon! Your a genius!" I said, grabbing the rodent and grabing my key ring, running to my door and inserting Mephisto's key into the door.

I then opened the door and jumped in with a big smile on my face. "MEPHISTO!" I exclaimed and Mephisto who was sitting in his chair jumped up and screamed and I laughed. "(Y/N)?! Don't you scare me like that again!" Mephisto yelled and I giggled. "Hey, it was Amaimon's idea" I stated and Mephisto glared at the rodent. "What? It was my idea to come in here, but not to scare you!" Amaimon explained and then Mephisto's glare moved from Amaimon onto me and I nervously laughed.

"Anyway, your earlier then I expected, but we shall have our lesson anyway" Mephisto said. "Now, you may want to grab my hand" Mephisto said and I blushed. I reached for his hand but hesitated for a second. "What? Do you not trust me?" Mephistpo asked and I shook my head. "It's not that. I just know, that if I grab your hand, I'll get new experience" I said and Mephisto put on a soft smile. "And I will help you through that change" Mephisto said kindly, but I still felt unsure.

"Trust me" Mephisto smirked and I smiled.

I then took his hand and I felt a force moved me and I felt dizzy for a second, but supported myself up, covering Amaimon and looking around. We weren't in the same room as we were, but it looked like a training room and no one was there except for us.

"Now, I have a simple task for you" Mephisto said, grabbing a bag and pulling something out of it. "Write down your feelings, without breaking this pencil" Mephisto said, handing me a pencil and a paper and I looked at him with confusion. "Just sit down and write. Simple as that" He said and I nodded, sitting down at a table and laying my paper down and placing Amaimon on the table. I started writing down how felt, all emotions I felt inside that I hid from everyone. I thought about my dad...

The way I felt went he died was painful. During that time, I hid in my room, feeling myself break apart inside. But I felt even worse when my anger and revenge came up. All the anger I wanted to let out, but I couldn't or I would go bezerk. I would destroy everything. I would kill every demon, I would hurt the people I love. I would... I would...

*Snap!*.

I looked to see I was gripping one half of a pencil while the other side of it fell on the table. I then heard Mephisto snicker and I sighed. "This is gonna be harder then I thought..."

Twelve...

I had broken twelve pencils already and I groaned, rubbing my tired face.

"Your trying to hard dear" Mephisto commented and I growled. "Aren't you supposed to be helping me?" I asked, frustrated. "But I am" he said and clenched my fists. "How is you sitting on your ass helping anyone?!" I exclaimed and Mephisto sighed.

"(Y/N), close your eyes" Mephisto said and with a sigh, I closed my eyes. "Now, take a deep breath, letting all of those terrible memories be at the lobby of your mind" Mephisto said and I did. I thought of all the pain, blood, sweat, and tears I had gone through, clenching my fist tightly. "Then, let it go..." Mephisto said softly and I felt my fists unclench.

I did it...

I let it go.

I opened my eyes to see Mephisto smiling at me and I took  deep breath in and out. "I believe that just finished your lesson for the day!" Mephisto said and I smiled, "Now, lets go back to my office so I can give you your homework" Mephisto smirked and I groaned, making him laugh.

I picked up Amaimon and put him back in my hood, teleporting back to Mephisto's office. "Just wait in here for a second. I need to get something" Mephisto quickly said, rushing somewhere and I sat down on his couch.

I yawned tiredly and rested my head on the arm of the couch. Amaimon the climbed up onto my shoulder and I smiled at him as my eyes started to get heavier. My eyes then closed shut and I was set in a tired trance.

The last thing I heard was "goodnight darling" before I fell into a deep, deep, sleep.
