Chapter 10: I'll get you

Alright I'm back with a new chapter for you. Sorry that it took me that long but I was busy at my job and also lazy, and I. Sorry about keeping you waiting so long, but here it is my new chapter. I hope you like it and enjoy reading.

At the same time as Shadow and his team left the castle ...

Scourge was standing on the balcony of his room watching as Shadow and the other knights started their search for Princess Amy Rose and her personal guard Sonic the Hedgehog. He looked into the distance wondering where his fiance could be as something catched his eye. "Hm looks like the princess' maids are going to look for her too ... that's perfect hehehe." Scourge said as he saw Rouge and Cream following the knights. Scourge then walked back inside his room as he heard someone knocking on the door. 

"Morning mom, morning dad." Scourge said as he let his parents come into his room. "Morning son, you wanted to talk with us about something?" Scourge's father asked curious as he and his wife sat down on Scourge's bed. "Yea, I wanted to search for the princess myself, I don't trust those knights, they are all friends of that blue 'pincushion.'" Scourge said angry. "Sorry dear but I don't know what you are talking about, they are getting the princess back." Scourge's mom said not understanding what problem Scourge has. "That Sonic guy know's that I don't love her and that I'm up to something and if he tells his friends they will help the princess to get me out of the kingdom and then our whole plan is ruined." Scourge said and walked angry out on the balcony.

"Now I understand what you're meaning." Scourge's dad said and followed Scourge outside with his wife behind him. "So what's your plan, how will you stop them from ruining everything?" Scourge's mom asked now standing beside her son. "I have to kill that blue hedgehog before his friends find him and I already have a plan for that." Scourge said and grinned evilly. "What have you planned?" Scourge's father asked curious. "I sent my little pet on a hedgehog hunt, but I think I'll search for them as well, if something should go wrong." Scourge said and walked back into his room.

"Are you sure you want to go all by your self?" Scourge's mother asked and Scourge nodded. "Sure why not, do you think I need some stupid knights who will just slow me down." Scourge said angry. "Alright, if you are sure about it, when are you leaving?" Scourge's father asked as he followed Scourge outside in the corridor. "After I told the king, I need to stay on his good side if we want our plan to work." Scourge said and entered the throne room. "Good thinking son." Scourge's father said. 

Scourge walked up to the throne were the king was sitting in with the queen standing by his side. "Scourge, what brings you here?" the king asked. "I wanted to inform you that I'll go and search for Princess Amy myself." Scourge said as he bowed down in front of the king. "But I sent Shadow and his team to find them, they are the youngest and best knights in this kingdom, they will find Amy." the king said and the queen nodded. "But my king, I'm really worried about your daughter, please let me search for her." Scourge said and faked a worried face. "Well if your parents allow you to go." the king said and looked behind Scourge, where his parents stood. 

"Sure, and maybe the princess will realize how much our son loves her if he comes and finds her." Scourge's mother said. "Well in that case, go and find my daughter Scourge." the king said and the queen smiled at Scourge. "I promise I'll find her." Scourge said and turned around. Before he left the throne room he smiled evilly at his parents. Scourge then walked outside the castle and walked towards the stable. He got his horse out of the stable and came face to face with his parents. 

"Here, and get back here soon." Scourge's mother said as she gave his son a bag with food and a few things he would need. "I'll be back soon, it can't be so difficult to find that idiotic hedgehog who stole my chance to rule the whole world." Scourge said and jumped onto his horse and turned to his parents again. "Well if your pet already took care of Sonic it will be easy to get the princess, good luck son." Scourge' dad said before Scourge left the castle.

Back with Shadow and the others ...

It was around noon as Rouge and Cream found the den Sonic and Amy build the day before. Silver walked in the front following the footprints of Sonic and Amy as suddenly one pair of the footprints was gone. "What the- were did the second pair of footprints go?" Silver asked as he stopped. "What do you mean?" Shadow asked who walked behind his younger brother. "I mean Amy's footprints are gone, there are just Sonics." Silver said confused. "You idiot, Sonic took Amy so they are faster." Shadow said and smacked Silver on the head. "Ow ... sorry I was just surprised." Silver said and glared at Shadow while he rubbed the spot were Shadow hit him. 

"Could you two stop it, we are supposed to get the princess back and if we walk like that then Sonic will be even more far away from us as he already is." Blaze said and glared at the two. "Blaze is right I want to knock some sense into Sonic, so start moving you two." Knuckles said with his fist in the air. "Have you forgotten that I'm the leader of this mission, so shut up and start walking Knucklehead." Shadow said and walked in front of Silver so he can lead the way.

They walked for ten more minutes as they heard a scream not that far away from them. "That sounded like Amy." Rouge and Cream said at the same time. "Are you sure?" Shadow asked looking at Rouge. "Sure, that was Amy for sure." Rouge said now worried. "Come on we have to find her, sounds like she's in trouble." Blaze said and Shade agreed. "That means, if Amy is in trouble so is our brother, come on Shadow before they get hurt or something." Silver said worried about his older brother ... and the princess. "If you want to help them then stop talking and start moving." Shadow said and ran ahead with his friends right behind him.
