"Ms. Feliciano and Mr. Gutierrez, kindly please stand up." A boy with unruly hair stood up. "And give us an intro about yourselves." I can't help but see some familiar features of Mr. Gutierrez, despite not knowing him. What the heck is going on with me? I keep forgetting little but important things. Whose attribute is whose, now? I should eat more peanuts, I guess?
"What are you waiting for Ms. Feliciano?" Mr. Salvatore ordered me to speak. A bit taken a back, I still answered right away.
"Hmm, I'm Noriene Feliciano but you can approach me as Nory, from Felino Guillar Senior Highschool."
Back in the year 1898, a school was founded by the late Mayor Felino Guillar for those who seek knowledge above all. Students from there are ruthless when it comes to academics, that may also be the reason behind my love for proficiency.
"Are you single?" someone from the crowd asked, yelling.
"Well, yes?" Why was that even worth asking? My goodness, his taste is so poor for asking about my relationship status. I'm not even half as pretty as Lady. Why didn't he ask her instead?
"Where's your dorm, Nory?" A lad with dishelved ash brown hair. Wow, there are surprisingly a lot of them—with a bad sense for women-hunting.
"Uh?" I hesitated to answer that stumper as I fidget secretly.
"Enough, Ms. Feliciano. Please do ask the necessary questions only, Mr. Valdez and Mr. Sanopo. Mr. Gutierrez, you can take the stage from here."
'Thank God he stopped that nonsense,' I thanked Mr. Sollano at the back of my mind.
"Tifielle Gutierrez," he mentioned his name boringly then sat violently.
"Ellie returned?" Some girls whisp.
"What's your number, hunky?" A sexy girl questioned, she can be a 'Sasha' for me. When did I even start naming people? Gha, I'm getting weirder day by day.
"Why would I give it to a slut?" she then became embarrassed at his notice. Oof that was rude.
That's so harsh of him to say that! Although, the girl's question is a bit private, I, at least, understand him.
"So let's proceed to our lesson," Mr. Sollano said after a fake cough. He also might've sensed the obvious tension between the conversation.
"On the first day?" Most of them retorted. Can't blame my classmates, though.
"I'm not yet ready!" I heard them whine and wailed for Mr. Sollano's words.
Those were some of their reactions, I was also shocked to know that, but what can I do? Teachers wanna teach already. What is with my fortune these days?
"Hey, why are you not startled at all?" My seatmate nudged my shoulder to ask a short intrigue. Wow, another gorgeous creature. She had shoulder-length light brown threads that were naturally curled.
"It was kinda' normal in my previous school." I reasoned out, proceeding with putting out some things, such as a notebook, a pen, and a spare tickler for extra notes.
"Whoa! Wasn't it hard back there? I heard that the students there are as intelligent as hell."
"My, my... not all and to think that we are scared even just mentioning this school's acronym."
"Oh, really?" she asked like it was unusual being scared by some school's name. "By the way, I'm Laarni, weird huh?" She laughed softly, what a slick girl. I like her guts.
"Not at all. It's actually cute, it suits you. And also you're so pretty, and now I'm quite bashful to be near you, your vibe is just too cool."
"Ahh, naughty girl, you're praising me too much," blushing, she said. She is indeed a beauty and it is a shocker to know that she does not perceive that.
