Gotham is such a live city, that I have yet to actually try to enjoy. I'm bound to my home like a magnet on a refrigerator, because I'm so scared to go out and live. With the belief that I may just make a mistake and lose who I am again. I choose to go through life with much caution. It's actually like my best friend.

I don't think I had a promising future before I lost my memory. Now I have the chance to make sure I do. So I value that chance like it's my last.

Surprisingly it's a calm and quiet night. I don't hear a peep, which surprises me. Gotham is usually busy and crowded, with streets full of cars and sidewalks full of law abiding citizens.

I'm unusually alert and I can't help, but to feel a bit paranoid. Which causes me to walk in a bit of a fast pace.

The sky is now a pitch black and the stars have disappeared. Almost as if on cue to add to the mystery. No matter how badly I want to feel fear... I just don't. Funnily enough it feels as if someone is watching me. I don't know who and they're obviously not visible to me, but I can still feel them.... I can still feel their eyes piercing a hole through my head. Almost as if they are trying to take a peek inside of my brain, which may hold some valuable piece of information, or maybe my appearance alone is everything they are looking for. My pace slowly starts to decline. Which causes me to wonder where all of that anxiety went. I am now as calm as a bird enjoying its nest on a warm summer day. I don't know why, but I completely halt. My body feels different, like I'm no longer human. However, when I look at my reflection in the puddle of water beside me.... I see the same girl I was just weeks ago when I first woke up from my coma.

I can feel the wind against my cheeks as I stand completely still. My eyes close completely and I feel as if I am no longer visible to the world. Then that's when I hear it. This sound.... It's loud, but faint. It seems as if, I can't escape it. I think it's the laughter of pure insanity. The laugh is so diabolical, it's infectious. I want to unhear it, but my heart tells me I don't. Instead it suggests that I need to hear it. Another sound follows. The sound of a motorbike. The roar of the engine sends a jolt through my body and I have this sudden sensation... This weird sensation to feel the bike. To be in that seat driving the bike.

It's then that I choose to open my eyes and In the near distance I see a figure of 2 on the bike. This feeling of recognition crosses my mind, but of course I don't really know who they are. As the bike approaches in a closer distance, I see a man with green hair and blood red lips that holds a sinister smile. He gives a wink before laughing as loud as he possibly can. The same intoxicating cackle I heard before, escapes his lips. I turn my head slightly to see whom is on the back of his bike, but before I can quite make out the figure everything goes black.

Then that's when I hear the sound of my alarm. Be-be-eep, be-be-beep.

With a groan I open my eyes wide. It seems as if every time I do, the room seems a meter smaller. I wake up every morning in violent quiver. In addition, I feel a different temperature. Sometimes I'm hot, sometimes I'm cold, I even get the icey hot feeling in my toes. The dark shadow in my room almost implies that it might not be time for me to wake up. Sadly, my clock doesn't lie. It's 6 o'clock in the morning and that's my cue to get up and start with my daily routine.
