It had been another restless night for him. He tossed and turned in his bed, endless thoughts weighing on him. He knew she loved him – knew everything they shared and experienced was real – but she didn't remember any of it and it broke him.

It sucked not having her there with him, her body pressed against his as they lay bare. Their hearts beating not separately, but as one. The image of her bedhead as she slept – the kisses she woke him up with. The reassurance of her love and affection. He missed it all.

He made a pact with himself – to remind her every day that he existed. Yes, each Monday morning she could call him crazy, insane – whatever. But he was. He had been crazy for her – insanely in love with her. He'd have liked to forget the way she had, to have walked away so easily, but he couldn't, and so he clung to it. Clung to them.

Jungkook knew she would've wanted to remember. Knew just how much it would break her to know she was forgetting him. That's why he never reminded her of what they had; because it wouldn't change the way she felt about him.

He just wanted to make her fall in love with him again.

And again.

And again.
