It had been almost a week since that night at the bar, Harry and I chatted for a little bit and I did let him buy me a drink but only a Coca-Cola. I was only 20 years old and completely over alcohol, was that sad?
The night had ended with him scrawling down his mobile number on a bar napkin and then disappearing into the crowd to find his friends. Elsa and Kate had been bothering me about it all week, even going as far as taping it up on the fridge so I saw it. This morning I found it written on my mirror in red lipstick with the message "Its Saturday, you're going out, might as well have some company!" scrawled on a piece of notebook paper taped next to it. These two were never going to stop. I typed the number in and saved it before grabbing my bag and started my walk to work.
Twenty minutes later I was planted in my office chair staring at the LED screen in my hand trying to decide whether to press call or not. Before I could make the decision my boss walked in and dropped a stack of files on my desk. "Mel, I know this is late notice but we need these done by tonight. Please see to it that they are yeah?" I nodded and tried not to look frustrated. "Thanks dear" he called already out of the door. He was nice enough but he always did things like this to me and it was getting rather annoying.
Time passed slowly as I worked through the pile typing information into the computer and revising them to perfection. Finally my phone dinged and I knew it was time for lunch. I ran to the elevator, desperate for fresh air. Elsa, Kate, and I always met for lunch at this café across the street from my office building and I was quite looking forward to it. I walked in and didn't see the two of them anywhere but decided to go ahead and order anyways. I scrolled through my email while I stood in the long lunch line, there weren't usually this many people in here, this was weird. I hadn't looked up for a good ten minutes, just stepped forward when the shoes in front of me did, it was finally my turn to order.
"Hi Jesy" I said politely, coming here everyday for over a year I was quite comfortable with the staff.
"Hello there love, th-" she was interrupted by a loud crash behind her. There was a broken coffee pot and a person lying on the floor face down.
"Ehm alright" the boy yelled from the floor. Stan the manager suddenly appeared from the back and he was completely red in the face. "Really kid, late on your first day and you broke the new coffee pot? Maybe its time you took your break" he said sticking out his hand and pulling the new guy to his feet.
Jesy held up a finger and gave a polite smile as she turned around to help sweep up the glass, they were definitely understaffed for all of these people here. I was running out of time for my break and my friends were still no where to be seen. I glanced down at my phone and checked it for the hundredth time.
"Fancy seeing you here" a voice said from behind the counter.
I snapped my head up to see him standing there, the clumsy new guy. It was Harry. There was no escaping him now.
"Well, hello. Seems you are just as clumsy drunk as when you're sober" I said slightly laughing and nodding my head towards the mess on the floor.
"Hey! Go easy, I'm new" he said pouting and pointing to his name tag that declared the exact same thing.
I shook my head and giggled as Jesy reappeared. "Styles, you better get to the back for a bit before Stan has your head in a blender" she said pointing to the break room.
"Yeah, thank Jes. Nice to see you Mel" he called out turning around.
"Hey Harry!" I shouted at him. It was now or never, I saw him for a reason right?
"Yeah" he said slowly looking at me with an eyebrow raised and that cute left dimple quite visible.
"Umm...it was good to see you" I said with a smile. I couldn't do it, I wasn't ready.
He nodded and disappeared into the back. I regretted it the second the door closed, but there was nothing I could do now. I grabbed my coffee and a salad and ran back across the street to my office. Four more hours and forty more files were waiting for me.

Not So Typical
Fiksi PenggemarMelody is a typical 20 year old, bored with how typical her life is. That quickly changes when she meets a guy in a bar named Harry Styles. It becomes a roller coaster of emotions and not at all typical.
