Chapter 20

~ Jade's P.O.V~

I slowly opened my eyes and smiled to myself. Today felt like a good day so I decided that I was going to go to the orphanage today. I got out of bed and got into the shower. I began to sing, cause why not?

" Waiting for the time to pass you by.
Hope the winds of fate will change your mind.

Living in my sofa, drinking rum and cola underneath the rising sun.

I finished my shower the same time as the song. I got out and threw on an outfit. I did my normal morning routine before running out the door.

I arrived at the orphanage with a smile on my face. I walked to the door and rang the doorbell.

" Hello Luna " Denice greeted as she opens the door.
" Please, call me Jade " I said.
" Ok Jade, come on in. Bella has been asking about you " She smiled.
" Thank you " I replied.
" No. I should be thanking you for coming here" She exclaimed.
" The pleasure is all mine " I said as I walked inside.

The second I walked in Bella came running over. I picked her up and she gave me a big hug.

" JJ!! You're back! " Bella yelled happily.
" I'm here " I said with a smile.
" Let's go play! " Bella smiled as she hopped out of my arms.

I followed her outside to the playground. Almost everyone from the first day I was here was there again.

Almost.

" Promise you'll come back again " Bella frowned.
" I promise " I said.
" Bye JJ " Bella grinned.
" Bye " I replied as I walked towards the car.

I had learned a lot about Bella today. I found out that her brother had gotten adopted without her. I felt so horrible. She had lost the only family she had left. I also found out that Bella and her brother were found on the orphanage doorstep with a note attached to Bella. Her parents couldn't take care of them anymore and they had left the pack in search of something.

I pulled up to the house and saw Belle sitting on the steps.

" Hey " I greeted as I walked up to her
" Jade! I was looking for you " She said.
" Sorry, I was at the orphanage " I replied.
" No worries. Anyways I'm going out with some of my friends, do you want to come? " Belle asked.
" Sure " I answered.

A car suddenly pulled into the driveway.

" Well that's probably them. Let's go " Belle said as she grabbed my wrist and we ran towards the car.

" Let's go to Starbucks!! " Kelly said.
" Yes!! " Me, Belle, Alexis, Katheryn and Chloe agreed.

We had just finished shopping. We all got way to much and spent way to much money, but we didn't care.

" What do you guys want? " Kelly asked as we drove into the drive threw.
" A strawberry Frappe " Katheryn answered.
" A hot chocolate " Chloe said
" A vanilla bean frappe " I replied.
" A s'mores frappe " Alexis answered.
" A cotton candy frappe " Belle said back.

We ordered and payed then drove back home.

" Bye guys " Me and Belle said as we got out of the car.

We walked into got the house and made our way into our rooms. I put my stuff away and flopped down onto my bed.

" Jade? " someone said as they knocked on my door.
" Yeah? " I answered.

I watched as the door opened and Jake walked into my room.

" Hey " I said as I sat up.
" Hey " Jake replied as he walked over and sat next to me on my bed.

He looked worried.

" What's wrong? " I asked concerned.
" It's full moon tonight " he answered with a frown.
" Frick! I forgot " I gasped.

I looked at the clock to see it was nine o'clock at night.

Every full moon a werewolves wolf gets control and there is no stopping the wolf. The human can't do anything nor take back control until morning.

" Hahahaha " Em laughed at me.
" Shut up! I don't trust you having full control" I said.
" Wow! So nice " Em replied.
" Well we all know what you'd do! " I yelled at her
" Don't act like you are so innocent either! " Em yelled back.
" Fine! But promise me you won't do stupid stuff " I said
" But--" Em began.
" No buts, just promise me " I interrupted.
" Fine! I promise but I can't speak for him " Em agreed.

I sighed.

" When does it happen? " I asked.

Jake looked at my clock.

" In five minutes " Jake said.
" Ugh " I whined.

We both sat silently and waited until it happened.

~ Em's P.O.V ~

I was so happy. I would get to have control and be around Jay. He is really nice and I love my mate.

Suddenly I had control.

I smiled and looked over at Jay.

" Hey " He said as he put his arm around me.
" Hey " I replied as I moved closer to him.
" I love full moons " Jay smiled.
" Same here " I replied. " Jade never lets me have control " I added.
" Same here, I never get control " Jay said.

" Jay loves mate and so does Jake " Jay said after a moment.
" We love you guys too " I said.

Jay smiled and kissed my forehead. I yawned.

" You tired? " Jay asked.
" Ya " I replied.
" Go to sleep " Jay said as he moved so I could lie down.

I lied down and Jay lied down next to me. He put his arm around me and I moved so I was facing him.

" I love you. So much. " Jay said.
" I love you too " I replied.

Soon, we both drifted off into a deep sleep.
