Sonamy: The princess and the knight

Chapter 9

Sorry for not uploading so long, but I was lazy lately ... and busy with drawing and playing Sonic Generations. Anyway thanks for all the reads, votes and comments and enjoy reading.

"But what if something happened with them, I'm worried Shadow." Silver said again while he and Shadow searched a bit away from their friends for his brother and the princess. "Silver for the hundredth time, I'm sure he's FINE." Shadow said already annoyed by his little brother. "But I have a felling that something bad is going to happen." Silver said as he jumped up and down in front of Shadow. "If you continue annoying me then I'm sure something bad will happen to you." Shadow said and glared at Silver. "But-" Silver started but stopped as he saw Shadow glaring at him. "Now shut up and start searching." Shadow said and went back to looking around.

"Why do we have to take the two with us, especially that bat girl." Knuckles said as he looked angry around for Sonic. "They aren't that bad, just because you are always arguing with Rouge doesn't mean we can't take them with us." Tails said who searched with Knuckles. "I bet Shadow just took them with us, so Rouge can annoy me." Knuckles said and crossed his arms. "Sure, that's the reason." Tails said sarcastic and rolled his eyes. 

"I knew you would have the same opinion as me." Knuckles said and patted Tails back, who almost fell to the ground because of that. "Knuckles I was sarcastic, Shadow only took them with us cause they could actually help us and I'm sure they don't bring us in trouble. Actually we would get into more trouble if Sonic would be with us so shut up and search." Tails said a bit louder. "Okay fine." Knuckles said.

"I wonder how look we have to search for them" Shade asked as she and Blaze climbed up a small rock to look around from a higher place. "I don't know I just hope they are okay and that we find them soon." Blaze said. Shade looked around and stopped as she saw Tails talking with an angry Knuckles. "What made him angry this time?" Blaze asked as she followed Shades view. "I guess he's angry because Shadow allowed Rouge and Cream to come with us." Shade said while rolling her eyes. "Well it's not our problem that the two always get in fights." Blaze said and returned to her searching. "Yea, but I think he only doesn't like her presence cause he always lose at their fights." Shade said snickering.

Meanwhile Rouge and Cream were also walking by their own. "It was really nice of Shadow to let us join them." Cream said happy. "Yea, but I think he just let us go with him cause- hey what's that over there?" Rouge said as she walked faster. Cream followed her and they stopped in front of a den. "What's that Rouge?" Cream asked curious. "This is a den and it looks like someone was here just a few minutes ago." Rouge said smiling. "How do you know someone was here." Cream asked. "Cause the fire place is still a bit warm and there are footprints." Rouge said and pointed to the right side of the den. 

"Do you think that these are Sonic and Amy's footprints." Cream asked hopping that they found a clue where their friends could have gone. "I think so, but we should call the others." Rouge said and Cream nodded. "GUYS YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS, I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING!" Rouge screamed into the woods. After a few seconds everyone was at the den and looked curious at Rouge and Cream. 

"What have you found?" Shadow asked. "I think I found a little hint were Sonic and Amy could have gone." Rouge said as she pointed behind her to the footprints and the den. Silver walked towards the footprints to take a better look on them. "I think you really found the footprints of them." Silver said as he turned around with a smile on his face. "And you guys thought we wouldn't be much help, now you see we are huge help." Rouge said with a big smile on her face. 

"Shut up bat girl and let's follow that footprints so I can knock some sense in Sonic after we found him and Amy." Knuckles said angry that Rouge found something and not him. "Hey wait a sec you Knucklehead, who made you the leader. Don't forget that I'm leading this mission." Shadow said and walked in front of an still angry Knuckles and they started following the footprints.

Meanwhile with Sonic and Amy ....

"How did they know we were running into the woods?" Amy asked as she got carried by Sonic. "Well I think Shadow and Silver have some kind of inner tracking system for me." Sonic said smirking. "Do you think they will find us and bring us back home?" Amy asked now sad about the thought of going back home. "Well I'm pretty sure they will find us sooner or later, but they are not bringing you back home, not if I can stop them from doing so." Sonic said and smiled down at the pink hedgehog in his arms. Amy smiled back at him and both got lost into each others eyes. 

Their faces came closer and closer till their was almost no space left. But their little moment was interrupted as they heard someone shouting. Sonic got back to reality first and pulled his head back as he saw how close he was to Amy. "Um ... sorry about that." Sonic said blushing lightly. "Um no problem Sonic, but what was that sound, it sounded almost like ... Rouge." Amy said. "I think you are right, that was definitely Rouge." Sonic said as he stopped running and turned back at the direction they came from. "We better keep running before they find us." Sonic said and looked back at Amy, who nodded.

As Sonic was about to start running he stopped as he felt the ground underneath him shaking. "Sonic wha- what's happening?" Amy asked scared and clings more to him. I don't know we better get away from here before-" Sonic said but before he could end his sentence the ground beneath them broke apart. Sonic and Amy both fell screaming in the hole that appeared under them out of nowhere. 

Alright I'm not really happy with the ending, but I rewrote it like four times. Now I just leave it like that and I hope you like like it. If not, your problem cause I'm not going to rewrite it again. I'll probably upload some chapters for this story tomorrow.
