It was a cloudy and morose evening and you decided to stay in with your wonderful new boyfriend, Yoosung. It was basically love at first sight, well, message. Yoosung admittedly had kind of whack reasoning for liking you so much but he figured it out in the end, finally realizing that he liked you for you and that you were not, in fact, Rika.

Yoosung was a good boyfriend, he always made sure you were happy and tried to take care of you. He cooked for you and was always getting better and more passionate about what he liked. You brought new motivation to his life and he always strived to do better for you. He wanted to make you happy and to be able to provide for you. He worked hard to achieve his goals but didn't forget to spend time with you. He wanted to be with you all the time and since you had been staying at his house more and more he could usually look forward to it at the end of a busy day.

On this night in particular, you had planned a movie marathon to ease his anxiety over his final assessments. He was finally starting to get serious about school and his finals were starting to get to him. You were planning on surprising him with dinner, some of his favorite snacks, and a movie marathon. He came home from class to you wearing his apron and cooking dinner and singing Disney songs. He was surprised (thank god) but he dropped all his things and tears welled up in his eyes. He ran to you and wrapped you in a tight hug.

"I'm so glad you're here...I had a such a bad day a-and-" he burst into tears, holding you and crying on your shoulder. "I'm so happy to see you." He mumbled, laughing shakily and pulling away to look into your eyes.

"What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here yet you are...I love you." He whispered and then proceeded to attack your face with kisses. You giggled as he did so, trying to push him away to explain.

"You seemed stressed so I figured you could use some cheering up. I'm making chocolate chip pancakes for dinner and then we are going to have a movie marathon with snacks." You smiled, leaning in and pecking him on the cheek.

He laughed and pulled you back in for another hug, his arms holding you tight before letting you go.

"You're so amazing, Y/N. god, I love you. So much. Did I mention that I love you?" He kissed you for a brief second. "Let me help cook! I don't want you to do all the work."

You smiled at him. "No."

The smile fell from his face at your reply.

"It's your time to relax. You can watch but I'm making you pancakes. No buts." You scolded.

"I SAID NO BUTS" You squinted your eyes at him and he stopped talking, slapping a hand over his mouth in slight fear. "Good! Now I have to finish the pancakes." You said cheerily, returning to your spot in the kitchen in front of the griddle. Yoosung followed and watched you make the last of the pancakes, munching on the leftover chocolate chips. After a few more minutes of cooking you placed the pancakes you had made onto two plates and set them on the table you had decorated earlier.

You had to tidy it up a bit since it was covered in dirty dishes when you arrived but you had made it nice. His dining table was a small square table by a window looking out on the city. You had planned to put out a tablecloth but it was much too big so you settled for placing a small vase of flowers in the center and placing two blue placemats down. You set out the silverware, glasses, and napkins just before Yoosung had arrived.

You placed the two plates stacked with pancakes on the placemats and retrieved a bottle of orange juice from the fridge. Filling the glasses, you announced that dinner was ready. You removed the apron and the two of you sat down, ready to demolish those delicious chocolate chip pancakes. You both tasted them and Yoosung excitedly complimented your pancake cooking skills. As you ate, you remembered that your boyfriend had said he had a bad day.
