Chapter 7

I was woken up by the sound of someone being way too hyper for a Monday morning. I sat up and looked over at the source of the noise to see a ginger girl saying "it's morning" over and over to this kid who has black hair with a streak of pink in it.

"Is she on crack?" I muttered while rubbing my eyes.

I look around to see if anyone else is sleeping, and only see a handful of people asleep.

"Guess I should get going."

I got up, and packed up my sleeping bag. I grabbed fresh clothes and got changed. This time, I was going with a classic. I had plain white t-shirt with an orange Hunter Vanguard logo on the front. Along with this, I had a pair of jeans, and my normal navy blue shoes.

After this, I went to the cafeteria and grabbed some breakfast. I saw, yet again, that ginger girl with her friend. I swear she's on something. I think I saw her inhale a pancake. She's pretty funny don't get me wrong, it's just weird.

Once I was done eating, I went into the locker room. Yes, I did have my watch on, but I wanted to look normal and blend in a little.

As I walked in I saw those two kids again, I didn't care at this point. I walked past them to see Ruby and Yang.

"No more awkward conversations and small talk," I heard Ruby say. "I can just let my baby do the talking."

I smirked and Yang replied. "well, remember Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation. If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn how to work together."

"Ugh, you sound just like dad. First of of all, what does meeting new people have to do with fighting? Secondly, I don't need people to help me grow up. I drink milk."

I chuckled. "What about teams?" I said, causing her to jump.

"Gah! Oh, hey Felix... and well... I was just thinking about being on Yang's team."

"I think you should look towards pushing your boundaries a little. Teams are gonna be bigger than two people. So maybe have a couple members you don't know too well."

"Easy for you to say, you're an approachable person. You aren't scary. Others are..."

"Oh that's just-" I started to say but was interrupted by Jaune walking by.

"Ridiculous," he said. Funny that was exactly what I was gonna say. "I didn't store my gear in locker 636 yesterday. Would've remembered having to count that high."

I chuckled and noticed Ice Queen talking with another girl who had Red hair. Not ginger, red. Then Jaune approached.

I took the moment to put my armor on. After it fully formed, I looked at myself in a mirror near by. Not too bad if you ask me. The Bog Wild 1.0 gear that Cayde supplied me looked great. I then turned my body to get a look at my cloak. It was the Cloak of Taniks. He was a Fallen Kell that we defeated a while back. Nothing but a little punk by my standards.

I then heard a voice behind me.

"Hello," it said. I turned towards it to see the red haired girl.

"Hello ma'am."

"No need to be formal. My name's Pyrrha."

"Nice to meet you Pyrrha. I'm Felix. So, how are you doing today?"

"Delightful, just hoping to pass the initiation."

"By the looks of it, you can hold your own out in the wilds. So you should have no troubles with that."
