While I was on the plane, I had texted the only person I wanted to pick me up at the airport
The one person that knows me best, the one person that has been there for me in so many situations
As I'm walking out of the gate I look around but could barley see because of the tears in my eyes
Today has not been my day nor yesterday
I'm still very upset at Jack, at the boys, at the world, at myself
"Layla!"
I turn around my hair flips in the process seeing my bestfriend trying to get through the sea of people in our way
Putting my suitcase down, I jog the rest of the way to him. As I reached him I through my arms around his neck as his snake around my waist picking me up off the ground causing me to wrap my legs around his torso
I hid my face in the crook of his neck
"Hey baby girl" he whispers to me while he soothes my hair
While I was on the plane I told him everything that went down so he knows why I'm upset right now
"Shh" he rocks us side to side once he set me down so I was standing on my feet once again
"I'm such a bad sister and friend, Liam" I cry
He pulls away from the embrace so he could look me in the eye
I study his face to see disbelief in his eyes
"No you're not! It's his fault for not taking care of you correctly, don't put yourself down just because you put yourself first for the first time since you met those boys, I remember you would always have this big bright smile on your face everyday then you got involved with Cameron and that smile just started to fade away and began to be replaced with a fake one, it was a good- no scratch that- it was a great idea that you decided to come back, it'll give you some time to yourself and think without your brother or any of the others worrying about you 24/7, Layla, and from what I've seen between you and Alex, you're a fucking amazing sister so don't start bringing yourself down for someone you've only known for what? Six, Seven months? You're better off without them for now okay?"
"Okay" I say as I wipe my tears away
He pulls my back into his arms but not before planting a kiss on top of my hair while I let out a shaky sigh
