Nayeon rolled her eyes with a smile, "Wow, that's stupid. So you're telling me that you came here just to see us..." She laughed at the absurdness, "...you could've just called any one of us to meet up during the weekend."
The short-haired girl punched her on the arm playfully, "Hey, are you calling me stupid?"
"Just a little." Nayeon giggled before dodging another punch from her best friend.
"Anyway, how's the gang? I miss Chaeyoung... and Jihyo unnie, oh you don't remind me of your lovely tofu, Dahyun-"
"Please don't call her that." Nayeon cut her off as she sat down on the same bench that she first met Mina. Jungyeon could tell that Nayeon tensed up at the mention of her ex-girlfriend's nickname. The older just stared into the distance of the football field filling her entire vision.
"Why...? Did something happen?"
Nayeon leaned back into her seat and nodded dully, "It's a long story. But I'll make it short for you- she cheated on me, we didn't talk for awhile, and now we're back to being friends. I don't dislike her. In fact, just recently I've forgiven her. But please just don't remind me of those days. It reminds me of the pain that I want to forget."
Jungyeon nodded silently, obviously still taken aback by how much has happened over the past two years. "I understand."
Only silence was exchanged for the next few seconds until finally Nayeon decided to change the subject into a happier one.
"I'm okay now, though. There's someone who gave me the ability to move on."
Jungyeon chuckled at the irony of the situation. She knew her best friend too well. That bunny falls in love too easily for her own good.
"Who?"
"Mina. But that dense fool, she officially friend zoned me yesterday after our little date. I actually thought she liked me, but boy I was wrong." Nayeon laughed at her foolishness and shook her head in shame. She sighed before continuing on with her rant, "Actually before you came, I was already starting to avoid her. I can't deal with another heartbreak. As selfish as it may seem, I can't bear to be friends with someone who doesn't feel the same way."
Jungyeon sighed, "Nayeon, I don't think you should avoid her. Just tell her. You know, if your friendship goes down the drain, she'll forever blame you for it. If you become honest with her, it can go either way. But at least, you'll know that you did everything to save your friendship."
Nayeon shrugged, "I don't know, Jungyeon."
Later at lunch, Jungyeon excitedly reunited with her other friends. Chaeyoung, Dahyun, and Jihyo were all surprised by her sudden appearance, but nothing could stop them from having a group hug like they always did. Few minutes after they calmed down, the foreign members that were now associated with the original gang arrived. Jungyeon was already informed beforehand that Momo was now Dahyun's girlfriend and Chaeyoung wasobviously crushing on Tzuyu. Surprisingly, the foreign group didn't scare off Jungyeon in terms of first impressions.
"So I know we've just met, but do you guys wanna join our week long trip this Saturday? It'll be at my vacation house in Jeju."
"You have a vacation house in Jeju?" Momo blurted out in shock. Jungyeon humbly nodded, while Chaeyoung nodded with such passion and excitement, "Yeah, we used to go there back in the day!" She reminisced.
"But, aren't there only four rooms besides your own?" Dahyun muttered.
Jungyeon laughed awkwardly, "We can discuss that later. Anyway, I have a private jet that can fit up to 20 people. It's at the usual place."
