Killing loneliness

Bam grabbed her waist and pulled her closer towards his body. He looked into her eyes for a moment before he let them wander to her lips for a split second. He looked back into her eyes while he gently cupped her face. He pressed his lips lightly down on hers as his thumb rubbed small circles on the surface of her skin. He loved the feeling of her soft, delicate lips against his own, and that's when he realized he was fucked. Her kisses were becoming addictive.

"I've wanted to do this for so long," he mumbled against her lips.

Hunter smiled and placed her arms around his neck, pulling him closer so she could kiss him better. His lips felt warm against hers, they felt like home.

Hunter started kissing him more roughly until Bam pulled away again. She pouted a little while Bam grinned as he looked down at her, "what if Ryan sees us? Grabbing a drink doesn't take that long.."

Hunter rolled her eyes playfully and sighed, "I mean, he has to get used to the sight right?"

Bam smiled and placed a kiss on her forehead before sitting up straight again. He pulled Hunter closer so her head was laying on his chest.

"It feels kind of weird though," Bam said while he started playing with her hair.

"What?" She questioned while she closed her eyes a little. She was tired and it had been a long day for her.

That morning, she would've never guessed that she'd end up in Bam's arms, laying against his chest while she listened to his heartbeat. She didn't want to imagine being anywhere else. The sound of his slow heartbeat was really comforting, it soothed her chaotic mind.

"Being in love.."

Hunter opened her heavy eyes again when she heard his soft voice. She looked up at him, "you've never been in love?" she questioned.

Bam sighed, "well, I always thought I was.."

Hunter looked at him with a questioning look on her face, "but?"

"But..," Bam replied with a small smile on his face, "I guess I just never really knew what it felt like until I met you.."

Hunter's eyes widened a bit. No one has ever said anything like that to her.

"Wow," she mumbled, making Bam smile. She stared down at Bam's hands and blushed a little.

"You know.." Bam started, "you look really cute when you make that face."

"I'm not making any faces, I'm just tired," Hunter replied quickly.

"Of course," Bam chuckled softly and grabbed Hunter's wrist so he could pull her onto his lap. Hunter started blushing even more when she noticed the position they were in now. She was straddling him with her legs resting on each side of his body.

"Every face you make is cute.." he mumbled against Hunter's neck.

Hunter let out a nervous chuckle, "you make no sense."

Bam grabbed Hunter's arms again and placed them around his neck. He looked up at her again but this time with a more serious look on his face, "kiss me," he said.

Hunter found it hard to make eye-contact. Bam was making her really nervous right now.

Bam grabbed her chin gently and made her look down at him. He raised his eyebrows and let his eyes trail to her lips for a second. "Please," he said again, giving the slightest hint of a pout.

Hunter smiled nervously and leaned down a bit. Bam closed his eyes with anticipation, but to his surprise his lips never met hers. Because instead of his lips, Hunter kissed his cheek.
