Crazy Theory!

As a continuation of the last chapter, we're assuming Corbeau is Toichi here.

So let's start!

The Chikage that suddenly showed up at home after Corbeau's heist... was Toichi in disguise.

No, don't throw your furniture across the room like your entire life was a lie!

It actually makes sense. Chikage showing up with such perfect timing is uncanny, even with a Kuroba's luck. Therefore, Toichi would put on a disguise and pretend to be Chikage to see if he could talk Kaito out of being KID. As you might remember, in episode 24, where this happens, Chikage was saying stuff like that he could be a famous magician instead of a phantom thief.

Like here: She says bad stuff about Harry the magic buster, but as Kaito explains when unmasking said guy, he's actually helping his colleagues as fellow magician. Wouldn't the Phantom Lady see through that?

And here:

Not dragging about her love stories. "She" is probably focusing on not letting anything slip in front of "her" son.

Therefore, it's possible that this Chikage is actually Toichi in disguise!

Why can't it be that Chikage was the one who died in the stage accident and that Toichi took her place because she swapped places with him becauseshe was worried?
Well, no one would fool their son like that and they would've told him when he was old enough. There's no way even Toichi could keep that up.
