I'm at school, it's almost 6. My mom was supposed to get me, I've been here for hours. I don't know why she was always late. It's like she forgot about me. There was shockingly still students here.
I saw girls listening to music, and others were just dancing to some inappropriate music. There was also a girl sitting on the floor, addicted to her phone, wearing earphones.
She was really pretty. Every time I looked at her, she wouldn't look back, but look at her phone. Soon, everyone was gone, except for her. She was still looking at her phone.
I went back inside the school, and there was no one in the office. I went upstairs and the halls were empty. Some lights were on, some were off. I went back outside, the girl was gone.
I sat down, listening to my one music. A car arrived in front of the school. The car stopped, and a girl walked in. She looked around 20. It wasn't too creepy, since I knew it was a girl.
She walked in, so I followed her. She tried opening the door, it wouldn't open. She took something out of her hair, and opened the door. She walked in the school. She went to the principals office, all she did was look around.
She turned and I don't know if she saw me, I ran the bathroom. I could hear her footsteps coming towards the bathroom. I hid.
"I can see you, you know." She chuckled.
"Um.." I opened the stall. "Please, don't hurt me." I said.
"Hm. Why on earth would I do that?" She laughed again.
I was still confused about her trying to get in the school. I was too scared to ask, so I walked away.
"Wait." She said.
"Don't tell anyone I was here." She said serious tone.
"Why?" I said nervously.
"I'm a forgotten, so are you." She said about to cry.
A forgotten? That made no sense. I went outside, and her car was gone. I saw a car pull in, it was moms. She looked different.
"Did you put on makeup?" I said nervously.
"Of course. I do all the time, sweetie." She chuckled and she started the car.
Sweetie? Okay, now I know this can't be my mom. Everything went quiet. The forgotten still rang in my head. What does that even mean?
We arrived at home, and I went to my room. I grabbed my laptop, to search it up.
"Honey, supper is ready." Mom called.
"I'm not hungry." I said.
"Okay, be sure to eat later." Mom said.
I searched up, forgotten. Nothing important showed up, until I clicked on a website. It said: Has anyone ever called you a forgotten? Were they young, or old? I wrote young..: Okay. Most young kids make a joke about the forgotten. If an adult told you, you were a forgotten. It means, and my computer shut off.
My mom walked in, and looked at me. And, walked out. I looked it up on my phone, and told all the information.
The moment you've been waiting for... the meaning of forgotten is, when you die, no one will remember you.
