I woke up to see the sun, thankfully that hasn't turned into yellow construction paper. I had done the usual, brush my teeth, take a quick shower, and change my clothes. I walked into the kitchen, expecting to be greeted with breakfast, but instead I saw my family sitting at the table.
"Father? I thought you were supposed to be at work," my voice still raspy.
"Work was canceled because of that . . . thing that happened last night," my father answered. "They're investigating it, turns out that it was the cause of a magician.
"A magician?" Zacharias interrupted, "Why would a magician want to do that?"
"Zach," my mother used his pet name, "we don't know yet. This only did happen last night after all."
Zach grumbled in disappointment.
"Who's the magician who turned the moon into paper? Did they get that?" I questioned.
"Nope, they just presumed out that it was a magician, but anybody who has a logical mind could figure that out," my father whispered that last part, but I'm pretty sure that we all heard it.
"Do you think it's possible to get the moon back?" Zach asked.
"I hope so. Tons of natural disasters would happen without it," I answered.
We went on with our days, I was in my room sketching, my mother was also trying to find new things to invent, my father was finding other ways to help out the town, and my brother was out with his friends to screech about the senseless things he had done last week.
I was still wondering why anyone would so something like this, it had to be an accident? Of course it would be, who would want to cause so many disasters.
* * *
After two weeks of worrying whom the culprit was, we finally got to find out. It was a magician, because who else had the ability to turn the moon into paper. The guy's name is being kept secret for privacy reasons, and for the fact that people would to charge a riot to the guy's house. The magician is a twelve-year old boy, because who would be naïve and idiotic enough to transform the moon in paper.
While the identity of the boy was being found out, the affects have been taking its toll on the world. Hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis, earthquakes, and even more natural disasters have been slowly destroying the world. My father has been out and about, helping the town. There have been nights where he's gone home late, and I thought he died.
I was sitting inside my room, until my father came into my room.
"I signed you up to help the magician," he stated.
"WHAT!? But you know I don't know anything about magic, and I'm only twelve!" I exclaimed.
"No one else wants to help him, so I signed you up, you could use this experience in your life."
"But you could've signed Zacharias up! Why me?"
"You're much more mature than Zacharias could ever be. You always spend time in your room; you need to spend more time outside. You'll be meting him tomorrow morning at 10."
"10?! That means I actually have to wake up early! And why so sudden?"
"Like I said, the magician needs helps, and no one wanted to assist him."With that, my father left. Leaving me to wonder what's going to happen when I help the magician.
Look at that, I actually updated twice in a day, yippee for me.
Until next time.
